If Drumpf can’t handle that very simple question, he certainly can’t handle being office secretary.
Drumpf is not a self-made millionaire - he inherited all his money from daddy. If the Donald put all his money in a mutual fund, he’d have more money today. People think he’s a successful businessman - he is not. The Trump Tower and other properties were left to him by daddy. His net worth is all from property appreciation on properties that daddy built - not Donnie.
Watching Drumpf is like watching an X-Rated Donnie and Marie show for red necks.
A person who can’t think shouldn’t be defending a person who chooses not to think by critisizing the amount of time needed to think. They are all on unfamiliar territory.
It’s fortunate that national and international crises and confrontations always provide time for reflective thought and consultation with our betters before responding, so that we never have to speculate ahead of time how we would respond to various scenarios.
Think of all of the money we can save by avoiding contingency planning in the various branches of government.
So Ben did he say what he really feels or he didn’t have time to think about what he should say??? I thought Trump was a “says what he means and means what he says” guy…
Its really sad when Sarah Palin can give this canned answer better than Carson.
The translation here is that it was a “gotcha” question, and its all Matthews fault for trying to ambush poor Donald. Chris Matthews is just like Katie Couric and all those other lame stream media guys and girls, you betcha.
Just think you can sit back today and at anytime you want you can tune into a cable news show and see Trump supporters tying themselves in knots explaining the unexplainable.BTW,Chris Matthews is my new hero if only for a news cycle or two.
What he meant was that his friend Donald shouldn’t be expected to answer that question until he asked his campaign staff what it meant and how to answer.
I don’t think there’s any politically aware American who doesn’t have a stringent stance on abortion, one way or the other. That was a pretty softball question, actually.
Especially if one is supposed to have “deeply held beliefs” on an issue like abortion! This is not a topic one should have to think about, not that Trump is often burdened with thought.
The issue here really isn’t abortion, It’s the EVIDENCE that Trump is an idiot and blow hard know nothing about any and ALL issues domestic and foreign, All sane people knew, when pressed for actual ideas and solutions on any issue or policy, he’d crumble like his cheap suits. It’s the reason he changes stances, often in the same sentence, as he make it up as he goes along or just out and out lies.
Speaking of The Rump’s Kinsley Gaffe, accidentally revealing the truth in an embarrassing way, Benzo reminds me of something Michael Kinsley wrote about Justice Thomas.
The Justice testified to the Senate that he had “no opinion” about abortion. Which is literally inconceivable. It’s only the biggest legal issue of his time. Nobody could possibly have remotely sufficient judicial and legal experience to qualify for the Supreme Court without having an opinion on it.
So either he told the truth, he lied or he spoke so imprecisely as to prove himself incompetent. He should have been disqualified for any one of the three.
The answer with Thomas was most likely speaking imprecisely. With Rump it’s ALL OF THE ABOVE! On every subject, not just abortion.
