Discussion: Carson: 'All Black Lives Matter, Including Those That Are Eradicated By Abortion'

its hard to believe a neurosurgeon can be this ignorant.

Interesting observation. He does seem a bit off in his manner, like he might have one of those many conditions where high intellect and ability coexist with some sort of variation.

No wonder he’s catching up to The Hair in the polls – he’s out of his damned mind.

Carson is playing hard to the evangelicals. That is who this is aimed at, that is who his attacks at Trump are aimed at.

Its a sound GOP strategy for winning Iowa, but it doesn’t do much for him beyond Iowa. Its doubtful if it even balances being Black when he hits SC and the Deep South.

No, actually, it’s not.

He is actually playing from the same playbook. He just doesn’t get as many media appearances. But when he does, he always says something outlandishly crazy, just like Trump.

This guy is an obsessive moron.

Ugh. Cherry-picked bibble thumping mixed with cherry-picked libertarianism and coated with a santorum-like layer of the “law” of attraction.

Thank you for this. I have been saying this for years that black women do not have more abortions regardless of the percentages used to determine these numbers that have been shoved down our throats.

Carson said he was not sure if the black community has been treated differently by police…source NBCNews.

Dear Doc, read the DOJ report for a great analysis on the collusion among the police, municipal court judge(s), and the Ferguson city administration to understand how the black community was being treated. BTW, all of those three elements (police, judge(s), and city administration) were white. And after reading this, be sure to get back with me. I would appreciate the apology. Thanks.

Boy, for being black and all, he really does not get it.

I used to think smart people knew better or at least should know better. I watch Rachel Maddow faithfully because I think she has a great show and is a great journalist and she often has Nicole Wallace (republican who ran the Bush campaign along with Steve Schmidt) and unfortunately for both of them, the McCain campaign. Nicole is a very smart, somewhat reasonable republican, and she admitted that her father is a huge Trump fan. I am presuming that her father is an educated man but what it told me is that dyed in the wool republicans have no scruples when it comes to the people they vote for

He should ask James Blake

Isn’t that exactly what BLM is asking for???

Even the egoistic doctor knows his place in this “post-racial” GOP, where Plessey v. Ferguson is still the law of the land.

In a general way, I’d agree that that’s part of what BLM is asking for.

However, they’re also asking for very specific ideas on how to stop police violence against Black people. Who have already been born. What Uncle Ben is serving up, is some generic fundie platitude designed to put deflect a very serious problem with b.s. about abortion.

how did this guy get to be a brain surgeon, he can’t count. since he has no involvement in the group, he really has zero say in what they do or don’t do. his second suggestion would be redundant.

And I don’t think he had his wife volunteer for any of those either.

He certainly is not a riveting speaker. It is one thing to speak carefully but his slow delivery puts one to sleep. Some of his statements make no sense at all, i.e. the one about all brains being the same which, while physically mostly true, willfully ignores what those brains have stored in the way of knowledge and prejudices.
