Shorter Carson: “I haven’t read a newspaper in 30 years”
So what? What president has ever known about any of this stuff? You keep on keeping on, Ben…you effing tortured genius moron! You brilliant idiot! Don’t let those shiny objects distract you. Now separate Haiti and the Dominican Republic like you did those twins! Same concept applies, I’m sure, in that highly functioning, yet dim witted brain of yours. You are a marvel of modern science, you intellectual child. Mr. President!
He’s not up to speed on much of anything is he?
I guess he got filled up with the names of all the ganglia and nodes and structures in the brain and absolutely cannot learn anything new. I’m pretty dazed and full of details too I guess, but then again I’m not running for president.
PROPAGANDA!! The man is a freaking idiot savant.
Reminds me of the episode of Married With Children in which Bud attempted to teach Kelly a few facts but when he did she lost most of her previously acquired knowledge.
Mr Carson is not up to speed on a whole bunch more than just US-Cuba relations. Heck, that’s just a foot note on all the other crap he doesn’t know.
You already had the headline correct after seven words.
Well, he is not up to speed on anything, except on Joseph and the pyramids.
How can a man like Carson be so brilliant in medicine but a damn idiot when it comes to everything else?
I think Dr. Carson’s brain was used by the Egyptians to store grain and the rats took over.
Yea, more like 60 since it is a policy that has been around since the 60s.
And he doesn’t much seem to care either.
He’s not up to speed on much of anything is he?
Especially the real world!
Also, can someone bring him up to speed on the theory of evolution, climate change, how magnets work…
Looks like here at TPM we have traded Trump stories for Ben Carson. Blech!!!
I’m thinking they both may be fleecing the rubes.
It makes as much sense as them actually wanting to be the President.
If the good doctor were asked to elaborate on a former Soviet satellite he would go no further than Herman Cain did, and just say “Uzbeki-beki-stan-stan” and look confounded.
I’m no so sure it’s a brilliant mind. If that’s brilliant, I am a a genius
