Why does he “hate to admit it”?
For sure, acknowledging someone has a cogent, rational point of view on an issue is a difficult thing to do. It’s so counterintuitive.
Please. Like he gives a shit about Amazon.
Also, Like @mattinpa said yesterday, funny how the rhetoric changes when a suit is filed.
No mention of dismembering the intern.
Yeah, this all boils down to Tucker’s Orange God feuding with Bezos-ebub.
Because Focks News has a policy of being “fair and balanced”, meaning that if someone is telling the truth, they have to provide a lie (or several lies) to balance it. Tucker is embarrassed that he couldn’t come up with a lie off the top of his head. Hence, he hates to admit it. If he does this often enough, it may cost him his job.
This guy is an empty head. It doesn’t matter what he “agrees” with.
Carlson: “Hate to say it, but I agree they shouldn’t be giving those tax breaks to the Washington Post Amazon…”
Honestly, I would guess he is ony concearned about the tax breaks, because they are going to the company of a Trump critic.
Exactly. Tax breaks for billionaires is their party platform.
One can almost see the gears turning in his head trying to figure out the calculus here. The final result, the boss really hates Bezos.
Enemy of my enemy. He burnishes his fair-balanced bona fides and whacks an enemy oligarch, neatly done my Tucker. Slightly OT but is there a German term for “punchable voice”?
P.S. New troll loose on the grounds.
Carlson could have stopped at “Hate”.
Roger that.
“I hate to admit it, but [Ocasio-Cortez] makes a very good point,” Carlson said.
He’d better get used to that, quickly.
There is a German word Backpfeifengesicht that means “a face that invites a slap.” That’s pretty close.
It’s a turn-of-phrase guys, lighten up. It’s what you say when you agree with someone you usually disagree with.
Kudos for speaking up on it. Regardless of motive it’s a good point to be made by both people, and one of those things that isn’t a Democrat/Republican thing, but a Rich-Getting-Richer/Poor-Getting-Poorer thing.
OT My PBS station has a Nature program on tonight called A Squirrel’s Guide to success. You might want to catch it.
Thank you!
