A gentlemanly stance.
Another (D) is in the house.
…after he cleaned up after his Teamper Tantrum…
Glad we won’t have to have the “masturbating Congressman.”
This guy needs serious help.
The “up side” of losing is he’ll be able to get in more time on Grindr.
Too bad Issa doesn’t have a similar fate.
Hallelujah
Happy here in the 52nd.
Never should have been close, though. Peters is far from my ideal Dem, but he’s a good fit for the district and should have creamed such a flawed opponent.
Looks like vote totals are down by about 30% from 2012 – almost 100,000 fewer votes.
Dems need to get people voting in midterms (he says to the choir).
Part of the problem is that the political organizations and elected Dems aren’t doing a good job of motivating voters that are not habitual voters, but I think there is a limit to what can be accomplished through the usual political channels and the usual campaign calendar.
There are still 3 incumbent Dem reps from CA in close contests, 2 of them trailing:

Those races all appear to have at least 1/3 of the ballots still uncounted. I’m not familiar with those races or districts, so can’t comment on the prospects.
Carl could always buy a phony degree and help “Dr.” Marcus Bachmann to grope away the gay…
Except for CA-16 which is small towns near Fresno, the districts in question are suburban in proximity to center-left cities.
No one will give conciliatory handshakes hands to Demaio for obvious reasons.
What will Demaio do to console himself, what, what what?
