Thatâs nice. Unfortunately, I have other plans. Iâll be curating my collection of carpet lint.
Itâs a tough call. I can understand why candidates with lower ratings needing more exposure would want to do this.
Iâll watch because I like Mayor Pete and because I want to see him not take the bait.
So pragmatic over substance. If he is expected to cull votes from the Fox News crowd, he had better be ready to provide a truth and fact injection they cannot ignore. Otherwise he becomes the sound bite du jour for Fox and âfriendsâ. I pretty much expect it to be fail on his part.
âIf we ignore the viewers of Fox News and every news platform that doesnât share our worldview, we will surrender our ability to speak directly to millions of American voters,â Buttigieg argued. âIf we donât show up, the conservative media will tell our side of the story for us.â
Thereâs that. But I wouldnât watch Fox News if they resurrected and booked Ghandi, Martin Luther King and Albert Schweizer. I like Pete too, but not enough to risk a sortie into Foxlandia.
I can somewha understand this, but I âloveâ this notion that dudes like McKelway can be ignored or reasoned with, while previous Martha McCallum statements should be attributed to her blondness.
back to hoping that EL Phantasmoâs Bullet Club theme drops soon.
âIf we donât show up, the conservative media will tell our side of the story for us.â
Oh, please. On what planet were you born, sir?
The conservative media doesnât give a flying F what your story is.
They will tell their own story whether you suck up to Fox or not.
good luck with that idea.
why not just feed yourself to a shark and get it over with.
Sorry Pete. You were in my top three.
Now youâre not.
Nor in my Top 5
Nor my top 10.
when its you or Tulsi, Iâll write back.
Wow. Blast from the past.
The raging deficit in 2011+ was NOT due to Bushâs 2 wars. It was Obama and the Dems. Proof: the raging deficit went higher during Obama (and was NOT due to Bushâs 2 wars or the recession). Sounds legit to me.
(I am trying for a Sunday night mellow despite Republican house guests today. ;-))
I agree with Warren: Fox News is a hate-for-profit outfit. Appearing on Fox is implicitly an endorsement of them, and she is right not to do it. Buttigieg needs the votes of Fox viewers â and thinks he can get them. Good luck with all that.
oh my gawdâŚ
its worse than I thought when I saw the headline. She wasnât talking about just a âsocial safety netâ. She said â80 million checks a monthâ.
She was talking about getting rid of social security so that âwarsâ wouldnât break the bank.
I hope he does well and that he tops Bernie in showing that Fox News (and by default, Trump) are hypocrites.
However the only thing that Iâm doing at that hour, is praying that Toronto wonât be facing an elimination game.
Iâm shocked that Google remembered that post.
In alphabetical order of the candidates, Buttigieg is fifth. Moron skipped past Bennet to do some bashing on Biden because Bennet doesnât have a chance. This time heâll skip past Booker and Bullock and go straight to Mayer Pete. Lucky Andrew Yang. Itâll take too long to get to him.
I like Elizabeth Warrenâs explanation best. She can reach tRump voters in other ways. It doesnât have to come from a hate-for-profit place which passes themselves off as a news service just because they employ one or two actual middle-of-the-road anchors or personalities. She doesnât believe in giving a corporation that peddles in hate the business to make more money. That makes perfect sense to me, and why Warren is the #1 candidate on my hit parade out of the scores of people running.
And besides, Sunday night is a night of good TV shows, so Iâll be busy with Call the Midwife and the finale of Les Miserables. My guess is the rest of America will be busy with GoT. Sorry Pete. You held such promise too.
Looks to me like Pete is going from âflash in the panâ to âgrease fireâ in record timeâŚ
