Discussion: Bullet Hole Discovered In Indiana Synagogue Window

The FBI is reportedly investigating a shot through the
window of a synagogue in Evansville, Indiana.

Doesn’t that new AG have any control over these FBI’ers ? ?

Next thing they’ll be wasting time looking down gopher holes …

Sessions needs to focus resources where they’ll matter…

Needless to say, he probably wishes they weren’t Jewish if he had his druthers…but of course, who will ever know what is in that cold dark, empty hate-filled sclerotic heart of his. Its not like he had a choice in the matter. Some things, even in his own family, were out of his tiny little hands.

“Over zealous Republican.”

Twunt.

At some point, because the FBI is not thoroughly corrupt, one of these investigations is going to turn up something Bannon would rather it hadn’t.

This, healthcare, VOICE etc. all part of the plan to divert attention and resources from the Trump-Russian probe. Haven’t seen anything about that for a while. FBI being diverted to more urgent issues. But it aint going to work (I hope).

“We’re in this climate now where acts of hate are happening everywhere," he said.

Those goddamn violent immigrants. Since when are they given priority to own firearms over the certifiably crazy and homicidal maniacs?

Well said, sir. A turning point for this country in so many horrible ways. Even if we oust this asshole, what happened with his election, and what he has already set in motion, will take longer than the rest of my lifetime to undo. I am still in such disbelief.

It’s what distinguishes us from the radical conservative terrorist cowards, sneaking around in the dead of night.

Too cowardly to exercise real free speech.

Lueger was known for his antisemitic rhetoric and referred to himself as an admirer of Edouard Drumont, who founded the Antisemitic League of France in 1889. Decades later, Adolf Hitler, a Vienna citizen from 1907 to 1913, saw him as an inspiration for his own view on Jews. Though not an explicit pan-Germanist, Lueger advocated racist policies against non-German speaking minorities in Austria-Hungary…
Other observers contend that Lueger’s public racism was in large part a pose to obtain votes, being one of the first who made use of populism as a political tool. Historian William L. Shirer wrote that “…his opponents, including the Jews, readily conceded that he was at heart a decent, chivalrous, generous and tolerant man.” According to Amos Elon, “Lueger’s anti-Semitism was of a homespun, flexible variety - one might almost say gemütlich. Asked to explain the fact that many of his friends were Jews, Lueger famously replied: 'I decide who is a Jew.’”

I suspect she’ll be mentioning a revival of the $500 billion oil deal to drill in the Arctic between Putin’s favorite Russian oil company and EXXON. But the GOP will insist that it has nothing to do with their newly minted Sec. of State. Nothing at all.

Trump’s ready acceptance of his son-in-law’s judaism was lubricated by greed not because he loves jews. The enormity of the Kushner family fortune, real estate holdings and powerful connections made him a prime catch for Trump. I would not be surprised if Trump himself suggested to his daughter to go after Kushner. Its apparent that Jared’s family was not thrilled with the union – and required her to convert to judaism in order to have their approval. Small price for Ivanka to pay for the lucrative merger.

@irasdad–Having been the principal of a school that received 2 bomb threats, I can tell you that it is Very Scary Stuff. I had 500 people to try to keep safe.

But that pales in comparison to what you describe here, as it was not religious/cultural animus that drove the threats. That elevates the threat considerably.

Finally, what is it about people who want to harm school kids? There must be a special level of hatred involved. I will never understand that.
