I live in Texas, which is bad enough, and still look at Kansas and wonder, do you just love suffering?
Future generations will look back in amazement at polices that produced certain failure were rewarded time and time again with yet another shot at making things even worse.
I look forward to Kansas’ descent into failed-state status a third-world status… or rather the model of conservative governance.
Maybe the U.N. will send in relief workers.

This crystallized the evening for me. Brownback and the GOP were obviously successful in nationalizing yet another race using the Kenyan Muslim Usurper as the Bogeyman for the electorate that skewed older, whiter and rural.
Not gonna say ‘Good Luck Kansas’ because you’re about to get exactly what you deserve. Thomas Frank writing in Slate called it ‘tax breaks for corporations and billionaires, austerity for the rest of Kansans’.
