Discussion: Bridget Kelly: I Told Christie That Mayor Thought Bridgegate Was 'Retribution’

He lied, she lied.

I STILL don’t get this.
.
It happened because a Democratic mayor didn’t endorse Christie? Huh?
How many Democratic mayors does NJ have and how many of those endorsed Christie?
This just doesn’t make any damned sense.
Can we go back to the real estate deals? There has got to be something beyond this ‘didn’t endorse-retribution’ stuff. Simply has to be.

Maybe its my tree-hugging, knee-jerk liberal, touchy-feely side coming out, but I actually kind of believe her story. It does make some sense.

But, but but - Christie said. Who would ever not believe the biggest bully ? Well, at least girthwise, because the GOP do have a bigger bully, their candidate for POTUS.

Republican loyalty is a reliable brand, like Trump vodka… like Trump anything.

They’re all lying. I don’t remember every amused barb in the e-mails, but it went something like, (1) Time for some traffic problems; (2) Make sure no one answers the mayor’s phone calls and (3) Is it wrong that I’m smiling. The tenor of those emails and their determination to put the mayor under pressure is completely at odds with the idea that she didn’t know what was going on and why.

I’m smiling.

It was clear that Christie was going to win the election. He just wanted to get as many Democratic mayors as he could to bow and scrape before him. Just a plain dominance play.

Poor Christie. This is a Bridget too far.
