The Democrats should use the Ballot Initiative/Proposition route in every state next year to propose stronger gun laws.

THIS is what Republicans feared all along. They were never worried about Obamacare causing problems, they were scared that, even flawed, it would work well enough that the citizenry would prefer it to the old system.

Well done, Maine.

Entitled asshole who inherited the presidency of an academic institution squeals like a stuck pig. His father was a thug.

And in doing it by ‘popular’ vote, the claims of being crammed down their throats are completely lost.

People want it, states need it and its the right thing to do. Plus its way friggin’ cheaper and way more effective.
Its like a God send or divine intervention, I can’t understand why the God fearing righties hate it so much.

Medicaid on 2018 ballots as a wedge issue? Now THAT is a winning issue for Democrats

Right on. If you heard the recording it was that for sure.

I am expecting him to suddenly turn all elitist on us and say that the people voted wrong, and were deceived by democrats. While this has happened (Brexit), that’s not what happened this time bub! People here have had enough of seeing family, friends and neighbors struggling without health insurance and voted to fix that. It was just that simple. Now I wonder how this will play out. Trump can always lob more grenades into it.

Awesome job, Maine. Way to help your fellow citizens and to kick that disgusting proto-Trumpp governor in the nads.

Paul Ryan is not going to be happy about this.

Imagine. A normal health care system like most OECD countries. Who says we have to be #47?

What’s this about Founders wanting employees in DC to be well fed? Never mind. Seriously, there’s a siege mentality among Rs, they’ll rail until the last one drops dead.

If we’re 47th, we’ve made progress since September 2016.

Record enrollments for Obamacare (despite Trump’s sabotage) and now voters overriding their Trumpian governor to enact Obamacare’s Medicaid Expansion.

Nice one-two punch to the Trumpian rhetoric that “Obamacare is dead…you shouldn’t even mention it.”

Turns out people actually WANT the government to help people afford health insurance?

Surprise, surprise!

It’s a great thing, and I hope the beginning of a groundswell.

@ohcomeonnow I think Trump was glancing over at the wife, not because he doesn’t trust her, but because he doesn’t know how to do it. Same with Junior. I wouldn’t be surprised if neither of them have ever voted before.

Intimidated by the voting booth scanner. Those Trump men are examples for the younger generation. Of what not to grow up to be.

Any outside bets on how long it will take for Guv’ner Paul LeStupid to find some way of chiseling the citizens out of what they should have?
