Discussion: Bobby Jindal On Whether Obama Loves America: It's 'Immaterial'

Better beef up on insanity defense: next year is going to be cray.

Bobby J8ndal is an illegal immigrant and he’s a Muslim! The Republicans need to send him to the Bush prison in Cuba! After that he goes to the Cheney ranch in Wyoming and gets water boarded - it’s not torture. Wink-wink.

Gov. Jindal, I’d say the gist of Giuliani’s remark that Obama doesn’t love this country is actually that he thinks Obama doesn’t love this country.

I followed Larson while he was publishing, and also B. Kliban, a slightly darker version of him. This is my personal favorite.

He can only wish.

The gist of what Mayor Giuliani said – that the President has shown himself to be completely unable to speak the truth about the nature of the threats from these ISIS terrorists – is true.

Could someone please explain to me this absurd suggestion that Obama won’t use the word “Islamic” to describe ISIL? He uses it all the time, but in the context of decrying their extremism. Do these mindless toads honestly expect the President of the United States to condemn a billion Muslims because of the extremists who pervert the teachings of the Koran in the same manner the KKK and Aryan militias pervert the teachings of the Bible? I swear I don’t get it. It sounds too fucking stupid to be remotely true.

I realize that the Democrats and many in the media are all atwitter over Mayor Giuliani’s comments. Perhaps he should have chosen different phraseology for his remarks.

Given that “phraseology” is the study of fixed expressions, perhaps Jindal should have used a word that actually expressed what he meant, rather than a five-dollar word that proved his ignorance. His statement here is tantamount to saying, “My fiancee didn’t like the ring I bought her. I should have given her a different gemology.”

“White House spokesman Eric Schultz said that it was a “horrible” statement to make.”

Oh for fuck’s sake, is there no Democratic politician or official anywhere in the goddamn fucking country who doesn’t sound like an old schoolmarm wringing her hands helplessly while her kids wreak havoc in Sunday School? “Horrible?” is the best this fucking wimp can do? Jesus Tap-Dancing Christ on a Cracker, Republicans call Supreme Court Justices “goat-fucking child molesters” but the best we can manage is “horrible?”

No wonder the average boob in the street laughs at Democrats. I would too.

You want the White House to foam at the mouth over Rudy Giuliani?

Okay, whatever.

Yes, if he truly loved Murca and its freedoms.

Bobby, do you want to know what Rudy says about you in quiet rooms? Do you want to know how many other “conservatives” in those quiet rooms agree with Rudy?

“…The level of the President’s love for our country is immaterial at this juncture…”

Flush with newfound power, conservatives rush to their favorite policy positions – making every individual prove their worthiness to the satisfaction of government bureaucrats.

Lower taxes? Hell, Republicans aren’t even pretending to want government out of anybody’s lives anymore, and that doesn’t cost anything!

“You want the White House to foam at the mouth over Rudy Giuliani?”

This is precisely the problem. Too many Dems think that using strong, honest, direct language is “foaming at the mouth.” Words do matter, especially in this media-saturated age. You can’t constantly yield the rhetorical ground to your enemy. Using the word “horrible” is a passive word perfectly suited to a political party that normally is in a defensive crouch, waiting for the next blow.

Funny, I find Jindal immaterial.

And Jindal is irrelevant. Why can’t this guy face the fact that he’s not going to ever be the GOP nominee much less president of the Untied States? His opinions are not wanted…by anybody.

Better yet, why don’t we ask Osama bin Laden, Gaddafi, Godane, Hakimullah Mehsud, or al-Awlaki if Obama’s rhetorical restraint provided an insufficient deterrent to their terrorist agendas?

Oh, that’s right. They’re dead.

Never mind.

That’s precisely the kind of terminology I describe as “foaming at the mouth” and it sounds like you’re applauding it.

But enough guesswork. You tell me, what “strong, honest, direct” words would you suggest?

Some people think we should get ni the gutter with the Tea Party and wingnuts, but I don’t think that is what people want,. It turns too many people off.
And, I know, some will say that the Republicans are winning because of it, but I don’t think it’s that simple.

Try as he might to fit in with the parade of Obama-deranged, Republican, white trash aspiring to occupy the oval office, Little Piyush’s culturally revisionist gubernatorial portrait is about as close as he’ll get to fitting in.
