Let’s face it. He’s faced with only two options.

Admit that he was completely wrong.
Double down using bogus evidence, debunked sources, and just plain lies to continue to attempt to justify his original statements.

Now…he’s in the GOP, so option 1 is obviously off the table. That leaves…option 2. Hobson’s Choice.
