Discussion: Blogger Arrested For Sneaking Nursing Home To Photograph GOP Senator's Wife

As I read the column I couldn’t help thinking that this guy will probably join O’Keefe’s posse.

Southern Fried Bag of Douche

Congratulations to Kelly, you crossed the boundary from unethical to criminal. I hope they throw the book at you.

Southern politics has always been dirty, but I think the Tea Party’s willingness to shoot their own allies has taken it to a different level. Republicans have always used these tactics against Democrats, but now that they are using against their own, even the uninformed voters that form the Republican base are starting to notice that the guys on their side don’t care about morals or ethics when it come to beating up their rivals.

I guess it works with the strategy to disillusion and disqualify enough voters until the remaining few suckers who follow them are able to get them into office, where they can funnel taxpayer money to their pet projects.

Probably something along the line of “Sen. Cochran doesn’t care for his wife and put her in this horrid nursing home”

He probably figured it worked for James O’Keefe.

Why call him a blogger? He is really just a henchman for a criminal conspiracy passing itself off as a campaign. I say throw the book at 'em!

Judging by the picture at the Clarion-Ledger of the two of them together McDaniel may have a harder time distancing himself from this asshole.

Vote Republican.

It’s not as horrible as the last system as far as security and troll control, but the presentation is awful. I have no idea why it’s on a fly-out panel, unless that’s to accommodate mobile users. It just looks terrible and wrong and it’s hard to read, and it covers up part of the article when expanded.

What the hell was wrong with putting the comments underneath the article?

Also, nesting would be nice to have. The linking of replies to original comments seems unnecessarily primitive. Apparently, the guys who did this system were good on the back end development but had no clue about UX.

Edited to fix typos and spelling.

“…I categorically reject such appalling behavior…”

Is any of what liberals have been saying for thirty years starting to sink in?

IMHO,Mr Kelly would have no problem going under a limbo bar being held by ants on each end.

Animal!

The fruits of James O’keefe’s reactionary ‘journalism’

I signed in just to like this.

I’m wondering if the point of not nesting threads is to discourage redundant posts by encouraging folks to read all the way through the already posted comments first, instead of just hitting ‘reply’ as soon as they think of something they want to say.

Still, I’m not sure that trade off is worth it on the balance. I’d really really like the option to switch to nested comments.

To the fullest extent of the law; make an example of this twerp.

Creativity is not always the best solution in UI design, better to copy from a website that gets good marks in feedback from users. In this case, let the crowd decide what works and what doesn’t

Conservative bloggers all seem to be such sleazy little cowards.
