So, this man is saying that AAs and white families which there are a lot of them under welfare are better off as slaves. In fact statistics show more white people on welfare than AAs. So, what this man is saying is that these families are treated just as bad as slaves were before the civil war and that families were better off as slaves even though they were sold off to split the families apart. I am not sure that any family who receives help from the government would agree that being a slave is the same thing. I believe most people would believe that the difference of being sold and having no control over your own body and receiving help from the government is not on the same playing field. But only a republican would think that being a slave was a picnic.
