Mr Kristol, it was a 20 minute rant about minorities, not 2 or 3 sentences. And that was just the first go around. The next day Mr Bundy expanded on his views.
Should I take it then, Mr Kristol that racisim is really OK with you? And I think I am being quite reasonable and not hysterical at all. You would not like me if I got all hysterical, I assure you …sir.

Mr. Kristol kept his mouth shut on Bundy’s racism all last week. When fellow Jew Sterling is accused of racism, it’s suddenly no big deal.We should ignore his words and go by his actions Kristol says.

In a 2002 slumlord case against Sterling, he allegedly referred to African-Americans as poor tenant candidates because they “smell and aren’t clean.” Of Mexicans, Sterling said, they “just sit around and smoke and drink all day.” And Korean tenants? “I don’t have to spend any more money on them, they will take whatever conditions I give them and still pay the rent,” he said. Sterling in 2009 was required to pay big to settle a housing discrimination lawsuit. Deadspin offers some more offensive quotes from Sterling’s past, including his use of the N-word, and outrageously sexist comments as well.”
You can contact ABC and demand Kristol be removed from the program for his support of Sterling. He is a warmonger who does not deserve a spot on a Sunday Morning talk show.

Perhaps it’s because, as Haaretz reports and according to Sterling, it’s all OK because “It’s the world! You go to Israel, the blacks are just treated like dogs.”

I don’t in any way excuse Bundy’s racism, but you can chalk up at least a cow-pie-sized chunk of his ignorance to the fact that he lives with a herd of cattle in the Nevada desert. I mean, how many Blacks has Bundy ever met?
Sterling is something else again. He’s owned a business (and presumably profited) for 30 years in an industry where highly educated employees at the very top of their field happen to be dominated by one ethnic group. And he is prejudiced against that very group. Unlike Bundy you can’t say that some of it derives from that fact that he’s merely isolated.
How fucking stupid do you have to be in this day and age to carry prejudice (much less express it) against your most valuable employees?
Kristol doesn’t get that. And as far as whether the Clippers have inculcated Sterling’s values or not, that remains to be seen.
Actually, I thought he was probably thinking about that old quote attributed to Napoleon - “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake”.
Given the current state of Conservative Hive Mind, I suspect folks will have a few more chances to use this in the coming months…
