Discussion: Biden To Mexico: 'I Feel Almost Obliged To Apologize' About Trump

Discussion for article #246484

This is a wonderful two-fer. In the first place, it’s absolutely appropriate to make some sort of apology for the ignorant hate coming, not just from Trump, but from a wide spectrum of the Republican Party (looking at you, Steve King).

But it should also work as a piece of skilled trolling, almost guaranteed to elicit more self-wounding rage from Trump; in fact, I think I’ll check his twitter feed after posting this. Piece by piece, the Dems are assembling what is probably going to be a monumental win in November.

Yes, Trump would be stupid enough to try to go after Biden. He’ll be about as successful as Paul Ryan was against Biden at the 2012 VP debate.
Hey Trump, Joe Biden ain’t Marco Rubio.

If (and I do mean IF) Trump is elected, we will be spending a great deal of time apologizing to a lot of people during his tenure…

I can only imagine what the majority of world leaders are thinking of the US right now, especially those who dealt with SoS Clinton.

Biden To Mexico: Sorry About That Whole Trump Thing.

He’s like that crazy uncle at holidays.

But with billions of dollars.
And millions of angry, racist, highly-armed followers.
Did I mention he might have the nuclear codes by January?

(Nervous laughter)

a couple weeks ago I was a bit distressed because I’d had to put down one of my dogs… I got a lot of condolences from people here and thank you for that…

having said all that… last weekend I drove down to Chula Vista outside of San Diego to pick up a new pup… the pup was brought over the border from Mexico… does Donnie Dimwit think he’s going to make me return my pup?

I grew up in SoCA… went to parochial school… had a lot of Latino friends… learned to cook the food… I just don’t get how anyone thinks we don’t owe people something… like citizenship…

used to be no one cared about the border… people went back and forth and no one cared… and Tex… if you think you’re a cowboy you learned your skills from the vaqueros…

btw… the picture I use is the pup I got last year when my old Wolfhound died… she was about 13 months in that pic…

Why don’t we trade them El Chapo for Donald Trump?

Both are billionaires.

Both are destructive, but at least no one forces you to do drugs.

One builds tunnels that are engineering marvels and the other builds gaudy, tacky monuments to himself.

“The most heated of the rhetoric you’ve heard from some of the competitors for the nomination for President is not who we are as the American people,” Biden continued. “It is not a view that is the view of the majority of the American people. It’s the exact opposite. It’s the opposite view.”

Does it get any better than this?

“I’m sorry but we have this fucking moron pulling things out of his ass.
Americans would have to be morons, too in order to elect him. We’re not morons. Thank you for understanding.”

A new poll out today from IBD/TIPP backs that up:

Trump’s Immigration Problem

While Trump has been winning GOP votes, he has so far failed to close the deal with the public at large on his key issue — immigration.

In fact, the poll found that the public opposes building a wall between the U.S. and Mexico, 53% to 44% — with just 28% indicating that they strongly support the idea.

While opposition to a wall is highest among Democrats — 82% of whom oppose it — more than half (51%) of independents don’t support Trump on this, and a quarter of Republicans are against the idea.

Trump’s proposal to end automatic citizenship for children born in the U.S. to illegal immigrants fares even worse, with 58% — including 47% of Republicans — opposed to the idea.

Next up on Faux, Biden is on an apology tour, but cleaning up after the GOP is getting tiresome.

Hypothetically speaking, IF Rump were elected (and I really can’t imagine that despite the fact that I have been high before) I don’t believe any country in the Western world would speak with him. Truly, I don’t. I think he’d be rejected by all but the most backward Eastern bloc countries that still boil their enemies alive.

I don’t believe that any rational person could note the bombastic, naive, petulant,
infantile, ill-informed, vicious bile constantly pouring out of Trump’s hole, and think:

"Yeah, I’d feel good with that man having the authority to start a nuclear war."

The President will have to go on a REAL apology tour before Big Door has lost and is forgotten,
