Discussion for article #233894
Netanyahu knows that this whole stunt is highly inappropriate. He is using his appearance before the House as a campaign photo op and is turning the US House of Representatives into a fund raising opportunity for Republican PACs.
Netanyahu Says Not His âIntentionâ To Cause Controversy
Really? then when it became overwhelmingly clear that you were creating monstrous amounts of highly divisive controversy - WHY DIDNâT YOU STOP? ⌠nope - you are telling a big falsehood!
It certainly was the GOPâs intention to cause controversy. Mission Accomplished!
akaâŚFAT ASSED LIE
Bibi telling big Fibi!
ââŚThat was never my intention.â That was exactly his and Boehnerâs intention.
of course he didnât expect this to be a controversy â since congress has been ohso accommodating in the past. the last thing he would have expected was opposition to his efforts to undermine the president â whom he loathes.
Remaing steadfast with Israel is above politics, Samantha Power reminds us.
Failing to comprehend that remaining steadfast with Israel IS politics, IS political, HAS political consequences.
Yeah, right. Thatâs like someone who is deliberately pissing on your foot claiming that itâs not their intention to get your foot wet.
Yes, letâs donât overlook Boehnerâs role in this foolishness. If not for that prick this prick wouldnât be speaking before Congress.
TPM:
I deeply regret that some perceive my visit here as political. That was never my intention.
I honestly believe that Netanyahu wanted to insult the leader of the Democratic Party and President of the United States of America, while simultaneously campaigning for office back home, without anyone perceiving that it was political.
Which not only goes to show how stupid he thinks his audience is, but also how stupid he himself is for thinking no one would notice it was a shameless partisan stunt.
Asshole.
So he started off the whole speech with lying?
CHUTZPAH
âI deeply regret that some perceive my visit here as political. That was never my intention.â
OK, well, technically, what I just quoted may indeed be a statement of the truth. He certainly regrets that people correctly perceived these shenanigans because his intention was that these shenanigans would so cow the Dems and âleftâ that theyâd roll over and be too afraid of the political repercussions of opposing or criticizing his speech.
Shut up and go away Bibi. Until youâre out of office, I no longer want my tax dollars going to Israel. Period.
