Discussion for article #242521
Kentucky, a state which treats horses better than people, deserves this lunatic. Let it sink like Kansas.
Voter turnout was a historic low for Democrats in Kentucky this year, estimated to be around 30%. This is what you get as a result. Democracy is not a spectator sport.
Doesnât matter. Heâs in, and will be for four years. And I seriously doubt he will be held accountable for his promise. Our governor, Doug Ducey, made claims about ending ObamaCare when he was running. We still have ObamaCare (AZ) and no one has asked him about it. Besides, Bevin will just blame the Feds or Obama for his inaction. Or the people of KY will forget.
Its hard to believe that Kentucky Old Guard will let this clown get away with this. Kentucky is about to see the emperorâs Full Monty.
Which Republicans will deliver poorly, thereby validating their claim that government works badly â especially when Republicans are running it!
Bevinâs paycheck, however, will be paid perfectly, completely, and on-time without any hassle.
WHY are OâCare insurance exchanges closing? This guy may not have to do a thing at this rate. WHATâS THE DEAL?
Because the sky is falling and the world is ending.
Itâs bad enough to hurt people incidentally as a by-product of some process. But it takes a special kind of person to deliberately set out to hurt people for no other reason than purely to do so. In fact, I believe there is a name for that psychopathology.
Paul Krugman thinks itâs unclear why the economy does better when Democrats are in charge. Could it be that Republicans literally waste more money to judge and spite the poor, than what it would cost to simply help people?
Bevin will, I hope, get his comeuppance, be it on the issue of health care or something else.
Ben Carson thinks the pyramids were build to store grain, States that refused to expand Medicaid are literally wasting more money to help fewer people.
Conclusion: Pharoah mustâve been the first Republican. The slaves who built the pyramids wouldâve eaten way more grain than what the darn things could possibly hold.
Why Kentuckyâs New Guv Wonât Be Able To Destroy Obamacare As He Promised
I hate to say it but I really think someone needs to. Then when hundreds of thousands lose health benefits and die a lot of these dumbasses would finally realize what they lost and quit voting for these guys. Pathetic that some folks will have to die but not unusual for that to push americans to do the right thing.
Bevin: âNobody loses anythingâ. Surely this quote will bite him in the ass.
Bevin could rename whatâs already in place as âKynectâ something else, something more âconservativeâ. I could see him doing that; that, after all, was part of the motivation of the Democrat Bashearâs calling it âKynectâ, so it wouldnât be seen as having Obama cooties all over it. And if Kentuckyians are moron enough to elect Bevin, theyâre plenty moron enough to accept another name change gimmick as ârepealâ.
Oh to be a fly on the wall in the capitol with Bevin and his team: âSo how do we dismantle Kynect? Do we start calling it Obamacare, then kill it? Or do we just eliminate benefits for 400,000 citizens and blame the president and repeatedly call it unconstitutional? Letâs ask Kim Davis, sheâs an expert at claiming victim hood and not doing her job.â
If he has even modest âsuccessâ at rolling back benefits even red-state Kentucky will recall his ass.
"It is a big deal to establish a 1115 demonstration and it has taken the demo states months and months and months to put a demo together that the CMS will accept,â
The bar for approval is extraordinarily high and the amount of money heâll have to invest to get there will be huge.
What are you talking about? There are no exchanges that are 'closing."
Oh but be sure that Bagger Bevins, just like his federal political kin in D.C., will continue to rail on and on for his odious Baggerlandian followers and the ârepeal Obamacareâ chicken will never be safe ⌠poor chicken!
