āIāll explain and make it plain: I represent the human raceā

Ya think, Bernie?
You think?
OMG, the Polish Congoā¦I had no idea!
Youāre a very fine fellow, Bernie Sanders, if a little slow on the uptake, and if you get the nomination. I, Mrs. Von Holst and both our daughters will happily vote for you.
Gee wizz Bernie ya think race has something to do with hating Obamaās un-named nominee? Really and for true?
Ahemā¦ HOW MUCH MORE OBVIOUS DO THEY HAVE TO GET, BERNIE?
Count me in as well Ralph!
dāaccord
The are critical times when a candidate has to be forceful. This is one of them re: racism towards President Obama. Only wish he had made such a statement a long time ago. This is quite late in the game. And I wish he had specifically included Trump because Trump is the racistās hero. Not only is Trump blatantly racist and bigoted but he has yet to condemn any support from racist hate groups.
Yah think, Bernie?
And when Bernie said we should all vote for the Democratic nominee even if it isnāt him, I wish Hillary had reciprocated, but of course Hillary is not promising to support Bernie if he wins.
Whoās writing the damned headlines for this?
āWhat you are seeing today in this Supreme Court situation is nothing more than the continuous and unprecedented obstructionism that President Obama has gone through,ā Sanders said at a CNN town hall. āAnd this is on top of this birther issue, which we hear from Donald Trump and others, the racist effort to try to delegitimize the president of the United States. Can you imagine that? To say āHeās not really the President. He wasnāt born in the United States,ā which is nonsense.ā
Does that sound like heās merely suggesting something?
Un-fucking-believableā¦
Seems like when Bernie was given the opportunity to call out Trump specifically for promulgating the delegitimization of Barack Obama, Bernie punted with āIām not a psychoanalyst.ā What the wha? Thatās the kind of bullshit weāve come to expect from the other side of the aisle. Otherwise, good on ya, Bernie.
I see TPM is still just as āfair and balancedā as those other guys.
And the beat goes on. Funny thing is, he beat Hillary this time for the Obama love you hug. Iām surprised she ever let go of Obama.
And then thereās the Spike Lee endorsement about 8 hours ago. TPM? Hello?
(yawn)
Thanks for clearing that up. Any observations on the excretory habits of ursine mammals?
Iāll see your Spike Lee and raise you a Morgan Freeman.
Come on TFlick, thatās yesterdays news. Doesnāt everyone deserve a day in the sun?
Of course itās not exactly news that GOP obstructionism and the attempted de-legitimization of the President (including the birther idiocy) has more than a little to do with race ā but itās still a damn good thing to have a Presidential candidate say so, clearly and forcefully.
