The reason we have no idea what the committee is doing is that they stopped actually looking into Benghazi. Al the information about what happened that night was already discovered by the multitude of other committees and reports and investigations. By the time this one was cooked up there was nothing left to really investigate that hadn’t been previously released.

Maybe not, but the Democrats sure do and, just like their Republican colleagues have said, they confirm that this investigation is nothing more than a taxpayer funded, political, witch hunt designed to destroy a rival presidential candidate. There is bipartisan agreement here, even from GOP leadership, that this is all about hurting HRC. Why would anyone believe you?

Hmm.

Kevin McCarthy was part of the Republican House leadership. Are you saying, Rep. Gowdy. that you don’t tell the leadership what you’re doing?

Because I’m not sure the whole Shut Up, You Don’t Know What I’m Doing routine works very well when you’re saying it to to your bosses - you know, all those people to whom you are supposed to send reports on what you’re doing, a group of people, by the way, that includes the entire American public.

Don’t you dare question us because you know nothing about what we’re doing, and we know you know nothing about what we’re doing because we’re the only ones who know what we’re doing and we damn well aren’t going to tell you anything about what we’re doing, so just SHUT UP!. And by the way, we’re going to need at least a couple million more taxpayer dollars between now and election day – oops, I mean between now and…whenever…

There is no smoking gun. Nothing. Gowdy acts like a panicked man. If he could call off the Thursday’s hearing he would.
If there was something in the files then Cummings wouldn’t act as surefooted as he does…
Gowdy is a man playing poker with Hillary. She is holding a full house. He is 8 high.

Things might have been better if he had followed this guy’s leadership method.
