People like this are electable because nine years ago, a bunch of Democrats were no-attention-paying complacent dumbbunnies who thought they could sit out the midterms because Democrats had it in the bag and a bunch more were leftist imbeciles upset they didn’t get their public option pony and possessed of the insane belief that not voting is a sensible and effective way of showing dissatisfaction.

… and a bunch were like the folks I was canvassing out Stockton, CA way in '10… Jerry McNerney’s district, my second time canvassing for him – losing their homes, lost jobs, disillusioned, disheartened, demoralized, angry, and seeing fuck-all resulting from their votes, and just lacking the the energy and spirit to go do it again. Whole lotta that happening round the country in '10.
But it’s so much more fun to punch left, trot out some cute names, and rack up the warm, fuzzy likes and get the sage nods of agreement from the tribe on the boards than to talk about reality.
Disrupting voter registration files would enable a little last minute suppression if needed.
