Discussion: Barr Trumpets 'No Collusion' Before Releasing Redacted Mueller Report

Also of note… he’s yet another “acting” appointment, not confirmed by the Senate.

At this rate, the Congress isn’t going to have had any involvement at all in the process of appointing most of Trump’s cabinet secretaries…

Though I did, ummmm right now, nope.

Though any testimony should implicate Trump, the current argument is that Assange is the dealer and the Trumps were just innocent customers.

Which is really amazing considering it is the Senate that does the confirmation, and even with the craven GOP majority that obstructed the Brett Kavanaugh fitness for office investigation and then voted to confirm him, Trump is afraid to subject his Acting appointments to any kind of scrutiny whatsoever. He recently was quoted saying he preferred Acting appointments. When he goes back to being a sleazy real estate developer, he is going to try and figure out a way to use Acting appointments to get around legal or regulatory impositions on his Freedom of Contract view of the World.

“Innocent” as in “too stupid to know better”? Any argument that tries to pitch that BS about a billionaire NY ‘crime family’ rings pretty hollow to me.

The sad part is that both explanations will probably be used in the upcoming months.

I hope not, because creative writing is clearly a lost art form and DOJ using my explanation means that I’ve to find new ideas for my novel.

I guess Alberto Gonzales is very happy these days…

Can we assume that the Presser before the release was Donald’s idea ? Just as Sean Spicer was sent out to proclaim “the largest inauguration crowd”. The model fits…
