Ol’Billy Barr, his “inside lawyer”, now has to spin that consciousness.

are any of the committee Republicans reacting to this stuff? I know the Democrats have to be tearing their hair out…but this is so ridiculous that it has to serve as a new low if the GOP debases itself by not repudiating Barr for this…

A person is arrested for a murder he didn’t commit. But by all appearances and evidence a reasonable homicide investigator would pursue him as a suspect…
Now, the target is frustrated and angry he’s being accused of the murder. So he sets about manuevering, with the help of others, to corrupt, sidetrack and stonewall the homicide detective’s investigation.
And that would be legal, according to Barr. Because the guy was innocent.

Barr told Feinstein that the President was within his right to try to get Mueller ousted as special counsel because he felt that the entire investigation was flawed.
There wouldn’t have been an investigation if the POS in the WH had not been FLAWED. And, speaking of flaws…
was there any pushback to this odius shit? I don’t read anywhere here that Feinstein fired back with “#$&%(@&^$”. I hope some Dems are furiously preparing their next volley at him over this. This can’t be the soundbite that gets out onto the airwaves unchallenged.
Yeah, but as illustrated by the following, you are not simply dealing with guilt.
Going back to the Narcissistic angle, it is a reality versus delusion issue as well. He lies because he is denying any truth to intrude on his perception of reality. If he lied, by the time the ball gets rolling, he has incorporated that lie into his reality. It is now fact and anyone disputing it is an aggressor to be dealt with. As maniacal as he is in his malaise, he constantly lies. His world is truly, absolutely built on a different reality that we cannot actually understand in terms of the details. But we can understand the external effects he creates when operating under his reality. Yeah, I believe the president is a criminal, but I also believe he is seriously unfit to be continue operating under his own volition in any scenario. His family should intercede, but I guess they are equally challenged in their own unique ways.

That is just an amped up version of the GOP political class. But then really so is all the rest, the narcissism, criminality and etc., although I must say, day light between the GOP and Donnie in this has been quickly receding.

They’re on the same boat.
I keep seeing Trump as operating under his malfunction first and foremost. If he was actually competent as a person in general, this process would have been entirely different. We might not even be aware of it. The only reason he has gotten away with it is because the Republicans have shielded him to maximum effect. We can all see it, but he is not suffering consequences he would have faced under even moderately sane circumstances.

If I’m innocent, I’m going to want investigators to look at everything and talk to everyone with all due dispatch, so the public will know as soon as possible that there was nothing untoward. But then, there are no Paul Manaforts, Erik Princes, Jerome Corsis, Roger Stones, Papadapouli, Veselnitskayae, Professors Mifsud, or Assanges in my orbit…

Frankly, this is great news for R. Kelly, who has been very consistent in his opinion that his prosecution was unfair.
