Hillary Clinton’s response:

“I appreciate her interest in my campaign and I ask for her vote.”

The GOP (Grifter Opportunist Program) is a true growth industry.

I’m the only one who has occupied that space,

I want to congratulate Bachmann on getting the description of her bid just right…

These Republicans, Michele and Sarah, and many others, so full of themselves and so vivid an imagination as to their importance to the rest of the world.

Marcus has been waiting for her to leave Congress so he can take his Ethel Mermen review on the road.

Ethel Merman too

Anyone else getting their election geek on yet?

So basically, she got sick and tired of watching frenemy Sarah Palin cash in on the Wingnut Welfare Express gravy train while she continued trying to live on her paltry Congressional salary and the occasional dash of misappropriated campaign dough and so, like Palin before her, she’s quitting and ready to rake in some of that sweet, sweet crazy conservative cash.

With a strong assist from the media who continue to invite them on their programs to give them a soapbox to stand on.

She bragged that she is “the only woman who’s ever participated in televised presidential debates,” a distinction that has to sting Elizabeth Dole, whose 2000 presidential bid never got off the ground.

Well that’ll come as a huge surprise to those of us that remember seeing the presidential debate in 1972, when Shirley Chisholm was a presidential candidate. BTW, she wasn’t the first woman to run for President in the US either, but she was the first to be televised during a debate, and she had to take on the FCC in order to do so.

From The Brooklyn Rail:

She was allowed to participate in a televised debate with Senator George McGovern and former Vice President Hubert Humphrey only after winning a federal court order under the equal time provisions of the Federal Communications Commission.

It’s not like she was even close to being considered a serious candidate. What a joke. What special insight could she possibly bring to the table?

I’m trying to think of a pro sports team with a pathetic, abysmal history to draw an analogy to, but they’re all way too overqualified for said analogy.

She has a lock on the paranoid schizophrenic viewpoint.

And since she’s about as sharp as a bag of wet mice, she is also the choice of the Short Bush crowd.

Who is she kidding? She’ll end up at The Family Research Council or some other Christian grifter organization

“many voters “aren’t ready” to take that step.”

lol, nope, no War on Women here. Knowing nothing about a Presidential candidate other than that they don’t have a penis, the GOP already knows that they won’t vote for them … but you know, no sexism here.

SO even the GOP’s self-appointed expert on female Presidential candidates can’t go two minutes without saying something sexist … It’s going to be a fun 2016.

You don’t expect a Republican to know facts do you?
