Oedipus, Lear, Hamlet, Death of a Salesman, Gypsy are tragedies. In a tragedy the protagonist brings it on him/herself by hubris, indecision, belief in false values, trying to live through one’s children. Justine Damond was murdered in cold blood simply and clearly. Stupid Americans might say executed gang land style. They don’t even know what execution means. It is a euphemism. A euphemism for hangman. The executioner carries out (Latin root) the order of the Court.
I would sincerely hope that foreign ministries of civilized countries would warn their citizens about travel to the US. And one thought Minnesota was better than the South.
