Yes. It was striking, listening to NPR’s reporting yesterday on our country’s expulsion of the diplomats, that the reporter noted that four times in the official announcement the White House noted that we were acting in solidarity with the UK as a NATO ally.

As if that’s how we were excusing this action: the UK and others coerced us into taking that action.
