Discussion: Austin Police: Gunman Fired Off Over 100 Rounds Downtown

Discussion for article #230644

It would be equally senseless and wrong to shoot up the New York Stock Exchange, even though that institution is far more responsible for far more Americans’ legitimate grievances than anything one could pin on the Mexican government.

Appears to a guy who was totally into himself…and did what he did so the media could exhibit these narcissistic photos once again.

I see a repeat pattern similar to the Pro-Death anti-abortion movement. The religious extremist and their enablers would put out this incendiary rhetoric, sit back and hopefully some fool with a 2 watt light bulb for a brain would react. After the murder occurred, they would be all innocent and swear that they did not advocate violence, they were just exercising free speech.

So we have Politicians who scream (falsely) about terrorist immigrants and Faux news organizations with an ax to grind who exist to generate fear, it is not surprising that macho nut jobs would go 2nd Amendment on innocent people. And if called out on their BS, the enablers of these home grown terrorist will throw a hissy fit and insist they did not advocate violence.

Yes. It’s very much like when some poor soul climbs out on the ledge a tall building, and a crowd gathers below on the street. They start chanting, “jump, jump, jump,” and when he does, they walk away assuring each other they had no moral complicity in his actions. “That guy? Yeah, he was nuts.”
