Discussion: Audit Finds Trump Didn't Donate To 9/11 Charity After Attacks As Promised

still a leading GOP candidate for president of the United States.

There’s the path. Small, weedy, and you’ll have to step over the dog poo, but it’s a path. You OK now?

NY City Comptroller Scott Stringer is of the Jewish persuasion (true), and so he’s part of the larger world-wide conspiracy led by one Sydney Blumenthal to tarnish T’s image.

Well, I mean, even back then Zimbabwean dollars weren’t worth a heck of a lot so 10,000 wasn’t going to go far.

Didn’t he also claim that he went down to ground zero and spent time shoveling debris?

Shoveling, sure, but it wasn’t debris from 9/11…

He’s done and said so many horrible things, told so many lies, how on earth could he ever keep track of them all? I’m sure he just never thought about any of his stuff coming back to bite him. He’s not a planner that way. He’s not a looker at downstream consequences–if he were, he wouldn’t have had so many bankruptcies.

OMG, did he actually claim that? That’s more than out-loud laughable – it gives me a bellyache.

No, not OK. He is not a leading GOP candidate for POTUS, but the GOP candidate for POTUS. He’s within 7 points, and averaging over 40, which makes him a leading candidate for POTUS.

Forty percent of American likely voters – those are the people who care who runs the country and don’t just ignore it and go along – have decided that this man is suitable to be president.

That scares the bleep out of me.

He’s now created something like a Trump Party, and we see who his followers are and what they believe in. Him and nothing more. He’s taken the R party of Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt and Eisenhower to depths they couldn’t imagine and it represents nothing but hate.

I’m hoping the numbers on November 8th will be quite a bit different.

Weird. It’s not like Trump has a long history of not paying people he owes money to. Very uncharacteristic of him.

By now the RNC must have figured out that Extreme Vetting is not just for Syrians.

“Everyone who helped clear the rubble - and I was there, and I watched, and I helped a little bit - but I want to tell you: Those people were amazing,” said Mr Trump. “Clearing the rubble. Trying to find additional lives. You didn’t know what was going to come down on all of us - and they handled it.”

Or both!

“The New York City Comptroller’s Office found no evidence that Donald Trump donated to two 9/11 charities in the year after the attacks, despite Trump’s 2001 promise on-air to Howard Stern that he would donate $10,000 to the Twin Towers Fund.”

This is small potatoes. Trump also promised his first two wives he would stay married to them until death.

“Stringer’s audit encompassed every donation made to the Twin Towers Fund between Sept. 12, 2001 to Aug. 31, 2002.”

Well, they didn’t check August 32nd, now did they ?
