This is why I never watch the SOTU. Trump delivering a teleprompted speech written for him by someone else is not the real Trump. He has no need for unity. The only true Trump quotes are the ones he tweets while on the porcelain throne.
On Democratic leadership, he said that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is at least nice to him in private, but that Schumer “can be a nasty son of a bitch.”
Being nice to him at all is the only measure he has for the value of a human being. He doesn’t have any other metric.

If you are going to call Joe Biden anything call him what he truly is: a Republican pro-corporation through and through. Biden, like Clinton and Obama, is all about corporations while giving lip service to the working class and middle class.
Joe Biden single highhandedly assured Clarence Thomas would be approved to the SCOTUS when he cut off the 8 witnesses who would corroborated Thomas’s sexual harassment of women. Joe Biden speaks and campaigns for Republicans…even one’s facing quality Democratic challengers.
Biden has no business being in the people’s party. The party needs to start giving the boot to the Demo-Publicans like Biden and Mnuchin. We don’t need them and in fact they helped Trump and are helping him to this day.
Trump’s word selection (adjectives) and name calling are pitiful…shows that Trump is a very insecure and weak individual.

As usual Donald confused things here. I don’t know if its a textbook case of Psychological Projection, but its damn close.
What I find interesting is that Trump’s take on the politics of the Democratic primary is actually spot on. Biden does make gaffes, and while dumb may not be the right word, he is most definitely severely out of touch. Warren would be a disaster in an election campaign. Her professorial bent would simply not work. And Kamala Harris has had an impressive rollout so far.
My point is that for all his stupidities, and lack of intelligence, Trump definitely has a keen sense of TV presence and packaging, something he exploited fully to get elected.
His election also highlights another reality. As much as Americans like to believe they are voting for good leaders, they’re actually voting for good celebrities. We got lucky once that Obama happened to be both a good leader and celebrity. But now that Trump has made it obvious that intelligence and decency are not a requirement at all to be elected, expect the conmen to be further empowered and successful in future elections.
