I don’t see how this bill could be passed by the Senate without the support of any Democrats unless it’s done using reconciliation. Even then, I don’t think it could be passed since it will raise the deficit and reconciliation bills aren’t supposed to do that. I don’t think anyone expects this bill to become law. It’s merely been created by House Republicans to make it look like they’re trying to do something when really they’re not. It’s all for show.
