Good news for Pryor. But good god, $8.00 an hour by 2017? WTF?

These people with all the money in the world working so hard to deny people enough money to live…you have to wonder about their belief systems. If this dude spent the money he forked over for this lawsuit to something more useful to the people he is trying to deny, we’d all be better off. I’ll never understand why that is lost to these people

I hope to jeebus that these minimum wage measures have a COLA clause. It is tiring to have to refight this issue every few years.

If it actually brings working folks to the polls in greater numbers for off year elections, I say we should have more frequent minimum wage measures - and in more states than Arkansas!

Unfortunately, the rareness with which this is discussed in political campaigns is the main reason it has fallen so far behind inflation over the years. For how this has whipsawed the minimum wage earners, see here. And I know from experience that the same issue can’t keep reappearing successfully every campaign, because Joe and Jill Sixpack get fatigued (see, e.g., Chris Christie). I’ll stick with my original recommendation of putting in COLAs into the legislation.
