Discussion: AP: Manafort Secretly Worked To Advance Putin's Interests

I’ve seen this episode before.

“We are now of the belief that this model can greatly benefit the Putin Government if employed at the correct levels with the appropriate commitment to success,” Manafort wrote in the 2005 memo to Deripaska. The effort, Manafort wrote, “will be offering a great service that can re-focus, both internally and externally, the policies of the Putin government.”

“I worked with Oleg Deripaska almost a decade ago representing him on business and personal matters in countries where he had investments,” Manafort said. “My work for Mr. Deripaska did not involve representing Russian political interests.”

I wonder which statement is true? The one written in a memo or the one spoken out of self-interest?

How many undisclosed unregistered foreign agent are, or have been, associated with the Trump Campaign / Admin are there? Maybe we should be looking for those who aren’t?

Hasn’t been around much lately, has it?
Not that I’m complaining…

Haha. Spicer says it would be inappropriate for the White House to comment on someone who is not working for Trump.

Topping. A topping good morning to us all.

Not much wiggle room there.
No wonder he needs that KAC liar to blow smoke for him.

Caught red- handed.

So this is how Trumpy drains the swamp. I wonder if Manafort is yearning for the good old days when he was out of the spotlight, and could do as he pleased. Why sign up to this lunatic’s bandwagon when he had a good thing going?

OT - Rex Tillerson says he was stunned on being asked to be SoS, and his wife made him do it. Who suggested hotshot CEO Tillerson to Trump?

Tillerson added that the wife said God wasn’t done with him yet.

I didn’t know Barack Obama worked for Trump.

I know we’re all waiting for the “big one” ( Trump colluded with Russia fo sho ) and perhaps we’ll get it. Don’t think so but we can dream. But if you take a look at this shit pile it’s not looking good for Donnie. He’s holds all the strings to power and has a BFF for a FBI director and it’s still unfolding against him. It just keeps getting worse. Not dramatically but inch by inch worse. I’ll bet it goes down like Bridgegate. Trump like Christie walks but his staff’s fucked and he’s done politically.

"He proposed building “long term relationships” with Western journalists "

It’s not a reach to believe the “journalists” he landed on were Breitbart, Bannon, WND, Alex Jones and InfoWars, etc.

“Willfully failing to register is a felony and can result in up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000”

As I posted yesterday…this is an exceedingly target rich environment.

Spot on.

These assholes will say anything to skirt around the truth.

I’m pretty sure I read that Paul Manafort LIVES in Trump Tower.

Right you are.

Forced out by the finding of the ledger showing he received millions from a Ukranian party slush fund.

Out of sight, out of mind. Except we have learned he continued to be in contact and advise the campaign.

Adam Schiff is a little late to the party, but he’s been doing a bang-up job now that he’s here. His latest piece is excellent.

Haha… I saw ‘Adam Schiff’ and I clicked Like without even reading the link. I like Adam Schiff!
