This will get a minuscule percentage of coverage than the original AP tweet. Because Clinton. I have little doubt the AP knew exactly what they were doing. Because you rarely if ever see this sort of crap re: GOPers (putting out a false or intentionally misleading story followed by a mea culpa of sorts after two weeks of festering).
AP = Absolutely Pathetic
And by the way, this seems to be an appropriate thread for me to state the obvious.
Chuck Todd is an asshole.
Of course, no answer.
That moron made an ass of himself, just snapped when called out, and then was gone completely silent to Eichenwald’s perfectly legitimate questions. I can’t stand those morons like Todd. This sense of entitlement – they can question and criticize and scrutinize and frame whatever they want but they should be exempt from criticism – is infuriating.
Of course not
The editors are hoping we forget that
FOX News: This is the way its supposed to be. Kudos.
Its called ‘CYA’ for a reason, plus it’s Trump who used it to protect himself.
I don’t what im confused by more: that AP can’t fact check worth a damn or the idea that Trump D-Wade tweet has the same merit as the supposed foundation scoop
So… “278 days since her last press conference…” is off the table now, so Fuck Toad has to come up with something new to replace it with? No wonder she didn’t want to meet with these shitheads.
Yeah, and speaking of the 278 days bullshit, so Trump actually lifted blacklist on banned news orgs? I don’t remember anyone in the media counting the number of days since Trump banned those news outlets. Do you? How many days were they kicked out?
Like Matt and Mrs. Greenspan, Fuck Chuck is giving hacks a really bad name. Sad.
Has Drumpf ever held a presser? I can’t remember one ever taking place. You know, where he actually took questions from a gaggle.
If a presser means actually taking and answering questions, then no.
Well in their defense, it must be tough to do any journalism when you’re hearing Trump whisper “don’t forget the balls”.
The Clinton Foundation is a charity, right? They use the money for global development, education, health care, and other charitable purposes. From the Clinton Foundation website:
“Because of our work, more than 31,000 American schools are providing kids with healthy food choices in an effort to eradicate childhood obesity; more than 105,000 farmers in Malawi, Rwanda, and Tanzania are benefiting from climate-smart agronomic training, higher yields, and increased market access; more than 33,500 tons of greenhouse gas emissions are being reduced annually across the United States; over 450,000 people have been impacted through market opportunities created by social enterprises in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Asia; through the independent Clinton Health Access Initiative, over 11.5 million people in more than 70 countries have access to CHAI-negotiated prices for HIV/AIDS medications; an estimated 85 million people in the U.S. will be reached through strategic health partnerships developed across industry sectors at both the local and national level; and members of the Clinton Global Initiative community have made more than 3,500 Commitments to Action, which have improved the lives of over 430 million people in more than 180 countries.”
And we know all this stuff because they have made their records public.
The media treats it like it was Trump soliciting business for one of his hotels.
OK, totally OT, but has anybody seen what Mr. Marshall just posted on the front page?
“San Antonio mattress store discovers it’s still way, way too early to spoof the collapse of the Twin Towers for your 9/11 mattress sale commercial.”
In the weeks that followed 9/11, I remember Home Depot hyping the “Patriot Toilet For Only $49.99”. (“Seat Sold Separately.”)
And Wal-Mart selling a special, limited-edition combat-themed Easter playset. (Because the Prince of Peace came to bring War On Earth.)
But this? A television ad hawking mattresses at the expense of widows, orphans, and 3,000 corpses???
You know, a while back, Carl Bernstein labeled post-Reagan America, “The Idiot Culture”.
I’m thinking he was an optimist.
I don’t really see the difference between the original AP tweet and the new one O_o
APNews is the propaganda arm of the neo-racial alt-right movement. Remember, APNews released news stories to tip off Wahabbi Sunni jihadi groups like ISIS and al Qaeda that seriously compromised national security.
This is where I might normally say something, anything… But that was beyond description.
The defects in the two tweets were perfectly obvious from the first, or would have been had anyone bothered to look with a critical eye. Or even an editor’s eye.
