Discussion: AOC On Manafort Sentencing: 'Justice Isn't Blind. It's Bought'

Lady Justice

blindfolded and barefoot
haunts the cold corridors of courts
where fairness is seldom seen.

Rich men now control the law.
The poor can only Dream.

And who told you I thought NY Lawmakers and Governors were all A-OK?
Or either of our two Senators?

I think she does. And she is 100% correct.

I could not agree more.

The comment you’re responding to was a joke, at Nancy Pelosi’s expense.

Manifort needs to be put away for the rest of his life to protect people from a dangerous predator.

Everyone knows she’s right, but it takes a Socialist Democrat to say it out loud?. Just like Rep. Omar was right to call out IAPAC and Bibi’s Israeli government’s apartheid policies. We have to get over all this fair and balanced crap and really admit that there is something terribly wrong in the Untied States.

We are approaching third world banana republic territory. Fundamental corruption within the system has been allowed to exist ever since WW II. We are at a Teddy Roosevelt Break the Trusts moment…or maybe not. If not, we can expect to see the planet swelter in the second half of this century with Big Oil still buying Congress. There will be no chance of the American working class and minorities to get justice. Gotta wake up, folks. Our own party is still too indebted to special interests and keeping the status quo. Democrats need to break free and find our roots again.

Don’t you mean AIPAC money? Or are you purposely distorting Omar’s comment?

Write letters to Ellis telling him what you think.
Write a thank you not to AOC and tell Congress to get off their handsomely bought and paid for asses, and do something about these injustices…

I am guilty of not following this advice and must do more:
“don’t put too much time into posting to the exclusion of more effective outreach to Congress, local government”

This makes one look back and admire how courageous John Serica was. We could really use him now.
