Hey, Brian S. Brown, go eff yourself loser …
“The effect of the lower court rulings is to say that a constitutional
right to same-sex ‘marriage’ has existed in every state in the union
since 1868 when the 14th Amendment was ratified, but somehow nobody noticed until quite recently,” he wrote. “That’s the absurd belief we are being told to accept.”
I wonder what they think the equal protection clause means.
Have you been to the south?
This bigot needs to remember the saying “be careful what you wish for.” IMO he’s deluded if he thinks the Supreme Court will rule the way he expects them to. They’re going to rule the only way they can, and they’re just looking for the most politically palatable way to do it. Whatever case they accept will be Windsor all over again.
My invisible man who lives in the sky says YOUR invisible man who lives in the sky is WRONG!
Also explain the inevitability of change.
Sky Pie or death!

Love how someone else doing something you don’t approve of is an infringement on your personal religious liberty.
Tony Perkins is an idiot.
… as an attack on their “religious freedom.”
Sounds like the exact same “argument” [crap] we dealt with 50+ years ago on the issue of inter-racial marriage?
Because “Religious FreeDumb”?
As a person who has just enjoyed his 33rd anniversary, my wife and I join in the celebration of marriage by others. We are not threatened by this.
. . . adding that time is on the side not of same-sex marriage advocates, but of those who see same-sex marriage as an attack on their "religious freedom.
“those who see same-sex marriage as an attack on their ‘religious freedom’.”
Exactly what religious freedom is it that the teahadis see being attacked? Don’t like same sex marriage, don’t marry someone of the same sex. Simple as that.
Lately it seems SCOTUS does its best work when it does not make a ruling.

With approximately 80% of all young people and 55% of Americans supporting marriage equality
the court and society are moving forward in tandem.
I know. There are tons of people out there that I don’t “think” should get married, whether it’s because they fight all the time, or one partner has already cheated multiple times, they have very different values, too young, you name it.
Guess what, it’s really none of my business and it has no effect on my happy marriage whatsoever. Besides, a few of the couples have proved my personal opinion very wrong over the years and they are in solid marriages.
NeitherTony Perkins or I should get a vote in which legal adult is allowed this right.
I have been married for 41 years and I guess I am just too stupid to figure out how same sex marriage affects me.
He comes out of the closet?
Tony Perkins is just binding his time.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO
Someone should tell the folks at NOM that homosexuality is found in over 1500 species.
But homophobia is found in only one.
time is not on the side of the religiosos, the rising tide of atheism will help purge the scourge of fools like perkins and ideas like hatred of gays.
Catholic Doctrine does not permit marriage where one partner is known to be permanently incapable of sexual relations. I wonder where NOM considers the fact that the government does recognize such marriages to be a disgusting infringement of their religious rights?
