Fun Facts: In 2011 the House Chaplain earned $172,500 and the Senate Chaplain earned $155,500.

The Senate Chaplain’s Office has a budget of $436,886 this year (2016). The House Chaplain’s budget is similar, but it was not a line item—it was lumped in with $24,980,898 for the “salaries and expenses of the Office of the Clerk, including the positions of the Chaplain and the Historian.” However, the Senate chaplain has three staffers—a director of communications, a chief of staff, and an assistant—while the House Chaplain only has two staffers—an assistant and a liaison. The salaries alone for the three in the House chaplain’s office top $345,000 according to InsideGov. Add expenses and Congress is spending $800,000 every year on its opening prayers.

They would no doubt be paid a lot more for these valuable services but, you know, Separation of Church and State, etc.

Jesus: “well when you are a celebrity, you can do anything. Walk on water?turn water into wine, preach the gospel of two Corinthians. By the way, if we lose Two Corinthians, the Romans win; did you know that? It’s next to the judges from the Kentucky, Utah and Wisconsin provinces washing their hands and not passing judgment.”

You have obviously been brain washed by the liberal elite educational system. This pastor stands testament to the fact that God created man in his own image 6,000 years ago.

If nothing else, Rachel Maddow will provide an honest assessment and cackle her head off about it, replete with “unflattering” footage of the event.

By air time (9 p.m. ET) she may even be able to include this:

Where are the tens of thousands of Trump worshipers who showed up for his campaign rallies. Are they having buyer’s remorse already?

“Pastor Jeffress is a unifying figure representing a diverse spectrum of Americans,” the person said. “Any attempt to vilify this religious leader is deeply disappointing and misplaced.”

Said without a trace of irony. The concept might as well not exist.

The worst thing about Islam, he said at the time, “is that it is a deception that leads people from the true God."

You know - the one that Christians worship, who just happens to be the very same God.

I’m surprised no one has asked the holy roller on his thoughts about Catholics, Jews, the Protestant Reformation, and his envy over the Christian Crusades?

“The pre-inaugural service has been attended by every incoming president since Franklin Roosevelt, with the exception of Richard Nixon.”

Say what you want about Nixon. Every now and then, he did the right thing.
