Hmmā€¦almost sounds like sheā€™s referring to Trump. But we know there was no collusion, right?

This is a bit off-topic.

I have not heard as much bombast from Giuliani as in recent weeks. Did some judge slap him with a ball gag order?

I thought that was a Simpsons episode.

Way OT, but what do folks think of protesters outside DHS Sec Kirstjen Nielsenā€™s Home?

At first, I think she deserves it, but then immediately think

  1. no, this is private space even if she is a public servant, even though protestors on a public street.
  2. it borders on stalking, even vigilanteism, andā€¦
  3. ā€¦makes her look like a victim.
  4. Westboro Baptist Church does this. Everybody hates them.
  5. what about her neighbors? They are innocent.

Despite some negative comments about the protests in the Mexican restaurant, I feel that was Ok due to First Amendment issues in a mutual public space. Curious as to what others think.

Perhaps TPM could look into licensing the use of the old Law and Order ā€œstingerā€ music to autoplay during such wonderful articles about Trumpers facingā€¦ THE BIG HOUSE.

Thatā€™s the thing. While it might be difficult to prove in court, the judgeā€™s reading of the 2001 Patriot Act provides grounds for prosecuting Trump. Iā€™d be curious to hear one of the legal experts weigh in on this.

Trumpā€™s on teevee at an immigration event, and itā€™s bad.

Read the comments. People are disgusted and horrified. Fuck him.

Jackson also pointed out that language in the 2001 Patriot Act
specifically allows for individuals who violate FARA to be prosecuted
for money laundering offenses.

Thatā€™s rich.

Headline: Trump friend charged with violating terrorism statute.

Iā€™m normally onboard with these sorts of considerations, but: This administration blocks public access, so I think that counters what would otherwise be valid concerns.

and you wonā€™t hear a peep out of Mueller until he drops 20+ Indictments on the Trump Crime Family for everything from Lying to the FBI, to Conspiracy Against the United States, to Money Laundering, to Acting as an Unregistered Foreign Agent, to Perjury, to Conspiracy to Obstruct Justice, to Obstruction of Justice, and the biggy: Espionage Against the United States (with a possible TREASON addition.) I would not be surprised to see a RICO indictment or two also.

This guy does not fuck around and never, EVER talks to the media about ongoing investigations, especially ones with ā€œforeign espionageā€ involved.
