Sorry, but supporting Biden after this is like the GOP supporting Trump after his pussy grabbing. The excuse is “he will win” or “I support his other policies”. If he ends up being the nominee, fine, I will vote for Biden, but my enthusiasm will be dampened because it’s an excuse to let others do the same thing.
We need people with real principles.
So the false choice is between full-throated support for Joe Biden the day after he announces his candidacy, or full-throated endorsement of a second term for Donald Trump?
How about a middle ground where she supports, say, Kamala Harris or Elizabeth Warren, going into the primaries which are still a year away? Or do we have to throw all our eggs in one basket now?
I don’t see why Anita Hill, of all people, is somehow obligated to now be Joe Biden’s biggest fan.
Problem once again is no good candidates. Add that to strong economy and overwhelming money and the odds are pretty grim for the Democrats.

There are some candidates running right now that I don’t support, but I’d vote for any of them against Trump.
What she’s saying here is important. Biden has some real communication problems, including an inability to apologize using the “I” pronoun where one takes ownership. Instead, like the handsy thing, he says “sorry you had to go through that,” as if he had no agency at all. It’s weak sauce.
Since Hillary got more female votes than any other candidate ever, including Obama 2008, it doesn’t make much since to pxxs off the women any more than they are after the treatment of Hillary. I can see Biden winning Iowa, it is the home of Steve King but after that there will be headwinds from women, particularly WOC.
I do not care how many Eichenwalds try to explain it away. Biden done fucked up. I will vote for Biden if he wins the nomination, which I pray to Anita Hill he does not.

Just occurred to me to wonder how the caucus aspect will play out—I’m guessing it won’t help. Have to think other candidates will have more passionate supporters.

Maybe stuff will continue to be fabricated and manufactured, but there’s nothing to “come out.” He’s a known quantity…as was his “touching” and the rest of it for 40 years all throughout the different contexts everyone ignores and the societal changes that have taken place and his actions since.
This is why people don’t bother to apologize or respond. There is absolutely nothing Biden could have said that would have supposedly satisfied this woman or his hyperbolic detractors, and all he did was give her an opportunity to run to the press to pile on.
