I don’t believe Andrea Mitchell has EVER completed one simple sentence without stammering, stalling, stuttering and spitting to get it out. She’s perhaps the most annoying pundit on MSNBC.
Says the stammerer that is a supposed journalist.
She is unwatchable…her mind wanders and she loses her train of thought all the time.
“I’ve seen a lot of spinals, Dude, and this guy is a fake. A fucking goldbricker. This guy fucking walks. I’ve never been more certain of anything in my life!”
I’m not fond of Mitchell (who has to be the single biggest constant name-dropper in cable news) but to me this sounds like one of those not-rare moments when reporters reflexively add a word like “alleged” or “accused” to a sentence when it doesn’t apply. There are certainly worse crimes than this in cable news.

If Mitchell is an incompetent, right wing tool spouting nonsense regularly, why is it that other talk shows on MSNBC have her on for her foreign affairs insights? She misspoke. At least she doesn’t speak over people she’s asking questions of like Matthews who loves the sound of his own voice so much he answers his own questions. Whatever Greenspan was or is or wrote has no bearing on what she says or does.

I agree Andrea Mitchell is awful but this is a tempest in a teapot.
As little as I think of Andrea Mitchell, still, this is a non-event. Who freaking cares if she called it a “supposed” disability or not? Everyone with two eyeballs knows Abbott’s disabled. Most people wouldn’t have even caught the “supposed” if they hadn’t brought it up.
Let’s keep the focus on Abbott’s GOOD FOR ME, BUT NOT FOR THEE attitude.

I think most “news” casters are working so hard to keep from reporting anything useful that they get ANYTHING out at all is a miracle. You should hear the blather coming out of the local DC stations, sometimes. Holy cow!
I frequently find myself humming Don Henley’s “Dirty Laundry” during the “news”.

Most likely she was providing cover for the hospital’s corporate owners; and drawing attention away from what Texas Republicans have failed to do in providing health care to Texans.
