I don’t know who I find less funny.
Truthfully, I don’t tend to find most comedy to be funny.
Uh, kinda cute. Why is it here?
Amy Schumer is the “it” celeb right now so every time she farts or coughs they have to write about it. That said, she is pretty damn funny and a real trailblazer in her field.
So, Caitlin Cruz stayed up late last night and wrote about the TV show she watched? We are lucky this space is not filled with a photo of her supper.
Is Caitlin Cruz on punishment and restricted from writing about important topics? . Or is Amy Schumer not getting enough attention to Ms. Cruz’s liking? Maybe Caitlin is about to leave to write for Gawker or E!. There has to be a reason why this type of story is on TPM today.
I like her. Her show is pretty good and her standup is better. Plus, even though she’s not a “classic” hotty, she’s cute and the funny makes it hot. Hopefully the movie is decent.
I saw this bit last night. it was amusing, but hardly worth space on TPM’s front page.
This is news?
You really thought it cute? I started to watch over on Slate, but was so put off by her inane condescension bit that I stopped condescending to watch. Schumer strikes me as a a good idea person with no clue how to turn the idea into polished work. I see some promise, but as long as she is feted as g-d’s gift to comedy, she will continue to fail to be funny. As for Kimmel, has he ever been the least bit funny?
What the hell is this doing on this site? Click-bait, I know, but I’d just as soon have lists of the prettiest this or strangest that.
It’ll need better writing and much better performances than I’ve ever seen from her. I want to like her; she so often seems to align with my POV. But I don’t think she’s very funny as a rule, despite having the germs of funny ideas. Every time I watch her I’m disappointed.
I pine for the days when Jay Leno was the worst that late night tv could do.
Yes, Schumer’s market seems to be teenagers, Fallon more the “Jersey Boys” type crowd. I find neither funny.
Fallon has always been “softball down the middle” type-comedy and I find that Schumer’s stuff is highly predictable. I think people are just into what her jokes are about more than the actual jokes.
