Discussion: Amid Campaign Worries, Trump Heads To Scotland To Check On His Golf Courses

“Besides, the general election doesn’t really start until the convention next month. He has plenty of time.”

Besides, he’ll tell no fewer lies in Scotland than anywhere else. It’ll be a working vacation.

Hats off to you. Both “no true Scotsman” and “literally” used correctly in a single phrase.

I can’t wait for Trump to encounter the UK press. They are, shall we say, a tad less submissive than journalists at home.

In some countries, they don’t let you leave until you’ve paid your debts. Maybe if all the electricians, plumbers, landscapers, drywallers, etc. line up with their hands out, the UK will force him to pay up before he hops back on his jet. One could wish anyway.

I sure hope this doesn’t mess with anyone’s tee-time —

Then he’d really be in trouble —

As long as he is on the other side of the pond, why not a quick hope over to the Vatican to see his fellow class warrior, Pope Francis.

A hilarious poll: http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/23/politics/donald-trump-business-poll/index.html

What people don’t get is that the Trump campaign and the Trump business interests are not actually separable. The former exists primarily to serve the needs of the latter.

Quintessential Ugly American travels to Scotland, to show international affairs chops, similar to his Miss Universe International Affairs Chops, and to utter his neanderthal musings on yet another topic.

Just follow the money…the Scotland investment has failed. No doubt Trump will blame Hillary.

It’s reported that tRump will become the eleventh hole during his visit to Turnberry. It will be a Yuuuuge hole and the only par one in golfdom.

No worries for donald, other trumps with very good brains are running his campaign in his absence, that would be the lusted after daughter and her husband and the two great white hunters. This will work as well for him as Mitt’s family advisors worked for him.

Yes, he lost. And he issued a statement saying history would judge them harshly for doing so.
Trump the Wallaper will face protests and bad press… can’t imagine why he’d subject himself to that… unless it’s to scam reporters for $10K each for the trip. Scotland has great swear words, BTW, all of them seemingly tailored for Drumpf.

Trump is running for the wrong office. He should be part of the GOP House caucus. They run away at the first sign of trouble, too.

He already has the NRA’s endorsement and probably a real nice check in his pocket to spend on his vacation from the responsibilities of leading the Republican Party. He just walked away instead of staying and fighting for what he believes in.

Apparently, he believes in nothing besides playing golf.

Hillary will take the high road and Trump will take the low road, but The Donald will get to the golf course in Scotland before the cowards of the GOP House caucus gets there…all expenses paid by the NRA no doubt.
