I don’t bother to reach. We didn’t compromise with the Nazis, don’t see why we would with these. If they’re too stupid to learn, all we can do is marginalize them and hopefully overwhelm their numbers over time with better educated and more intelligent folks.

I was hoping there would be major pushback against the jerk’s statement. This is great news! Don’t even give these monsters an inch.
Walking through the portraits of past presidents, we were constantly aware of how a future Trump portrait would definitely not belong among that group. Maybe the Smithsonian will have a broom closet it can partially clear so it can be pushed in. As we were walking out, I heard a white couple ranting about how unfit and awful he was. I turned around and asked if they could imagine his portrait hanging there, and they both shook their heads, one sadly, one angrily.
He’s repulsive.
Obama’s portrait was stunning. Needs to be seen there, because pictures don’t do it justice. Really liked the very different one of JFK as well.

Is there any developed country whose health care policies resemble ours? Ours are third-world awful in comparison. You find that out quick when you need health care while traveling in Europe or even in bless their hearts, New Zealand which I did. It was free.

My Jewish great great grandfather emigrated from Poland to the US and died in Chicago in 1902–3 years before Fred Trump was born–in NYC, though Trump now claims his father was born in Germany.
So I am a much more “AMERICAN” citizen than Donald.

Well. it’s complicated. I understand Netanyahu is a social friend of the Kushner family. They are pretty close, apparently. So Bibi kinda is Jared’s Prime Minister.
The people of the U.S. will use Trump as a rallying point to rescue their own country.
Breaking norms, SOP, rules, laws, protocol, decorum, manners, rules of civilized behavior…all of these have short-term advantages.
But the push-back can place those doing so on the road to a recovery with the above more vibrant than before. Hence William P. Barr stepping in to snatch Victory from the Jaws of Defeat.
So he thinks: The Mueller Report would have been released two weeks ago if it had anything Trump and Co. could have spun as a positive. It’s gonna get released and that may be pushed along by some unlikely actors.

That’s what I’m saying! Were it not for the whole kerfuffle with Rep. Omar, I would see how this slides under the radar or at least under the constant barrage of offensive shit emanating from his pie hole on an hourly basis, but they spent a week dragging Omar up and down Pennsylvania Ave and all around 30 Rock. They can’t now look at this all like, “Thank you, next.” If what she said was such a travesty to mankind and this is clearly exponentially worse then I need to see at least the same amount of angst and pearl clutching.
