Good for them.
I think they’re mostly doing to to avoid civil and criminal liability, but still good. Ish. Now ICE is going to charter a bunch of buses.
“American Airlines says it asked the Trump administration not to put migrant children who have been separated from their parents on its flights.”
“In response, the administration announced an exclusive, multi-year contract with Aeroflot.”
Or boxcars?
Only acceptable compromise: just the flights carrying Pruitt.
Nah. Trains are a form of mass transit, and that’s for liberals.
Will someone please explain why this operation, which involves removing children from their parents by force and separating them by huge distances, don’t even ask about documentation, isn’t just illegal?
They FURRINERS. And they don’t have visas. So blah blah blah blah.
Actually it is terrifying how much power border agents have even without abusing it.
Hopefully all transit companies will follow American Airlines lead.
There’s never been a better time to expand the operations of Trump Air.
This is a good move on AA’s part. I was researching which airlines were involved with ICE Air, either under contract or just being used for transport.
I am curious about SW and have sent them an inquiry.
In recent days several flight attendants have gone on social media to report seeing groups of children on their flights whom they believed to be children separated from their migrant families.
At least ICE was transporting them in the passenger cabin and not as cargo.
Shit, don’t give them ideas!
American said it doesn’t know whether any migrant children have been on its flights and doesn’t want to profit from the current immigration policy of separating families.
Chiselin’ Trump: “Well, then, we’ll just have to fly them on my private jets—at my usual costs, of course—because I certainly don’t mind profiting from the separation of families.”
Hotel accommodations, don’t forget the hotel accommodations. Deeluxury.
Now that’s cold. Good for you, American
Thanks, American. I’m so glad I don’t have to be ashamed that I fly with you (because I have no other choice…)
Not to mention adverse publicity. Yeah, that was what immediately came to me as well. But whatever their reason is, I’m glad they’ve decided to separate themselves from this inhumane policy.
