I'm a liberal Democrat but I never understood school administrators. In college, I was a playground supervisor for two years. When I applied, I was interviewed by the principal and then sent to the administrative offices which were located in an abandoned elementary school with two full wings used entirely for administration, with another two wings used for district storage. I was interviewed again and had to take care of a couple of requirements such as fingerprints. I did everything I was asked, and came back and was sent from one office to the next, apparently because no one was around that day that knew where I was supposed to go. So I got a pretty good look at the place and saw plenty of people working, lots of people typing, etc. I'm joking when I say this but I had the distinct impression lots of grants were being applied for so that the district office could hire even more administrative people.
