Marijuana, the coat hanger of the cancer set!!
If Cancer Patients Need Weed, They Can Just Buy It On The Streets
That’s essentially what they’d have women seeking an abortion do.
Still searching for a Rethug who’s not a complete fucking asshole. I doubt I’ll find one before I die (and I’m relatively healthy, Gott sei dank).
“It’s worth mentioning lamenting that McClendon is a health care professional who works as an optometrist and serves as the chair to the Senate’s Health and Human Services Committee.”
FIFY
The flabbergasted hosts pointed out that under McClendon’s solution, he would turn cancer patients “into criminals.”
McClendon brushed it off. “They’re probably not too worried about that.”
"Well, hell, they’re gonna die anyway so they’re probably not too worried about that. Amirite???”
Dickhead.
He’s the GOP guy with the beard (the only one that has one) who voted for the abortion bill. Their party diversity program.
Bad vision? Just buy those $5 glasses from Wal-Mart.
No need to check your vision at an optometrist to ensure that you get the right prescription and don’t damage your vision.
More like “Cancer Patients who want medicine should become criminals”
Does AL make it illegal to base employment decisions on THC+ drug tests? If not, they just handed businesses an easy purge of cancer patients from their health insurance. Just arrange a “random” drug test for whoever lets it slip that they have a chronic health issue.
“Sometime along the way, we’re gonna open the door that’s gonna eventually lead to recreational marijuana,” McClendon said. “And so I figured as long as I kind of push against that door, the better it’ll be.”

Aren’t such comments signs of being an alcoholic?
Does this guy smoke too?
Now this guy is an optometrist and Rand Paul is an opthamologist.
Maybe they need help with their double vision?
Or is it that they enjoy double-crossing our country?
I try each and every day to remind myself that there are more good people in the world than bad people. But, man! The GOP really does its damnedest to find the most awful people.
- Let’s hope the story of his inevitable biomedical decline gets a lot of publicity and shows how he reacts to an uncaring and idiotic set of rules that he proscribed for others.
- I guarantee he feels the same way about any woman who needs an abortion.
Struggling to adopt a worldview contrary to reality is unhealthy.
Optometrist? So he doesn’t want his sweet sweet office visit fees and pharma kickbacks to dry up when all his glaucoma patients can get their weed without a scrip?
Geez, a Republican opens his mouth and reveals himself, always, to be a fucking asshole-idiot. Who’d have thumk?
If they need insulin and can’t afford it, they can just buy a gun at the big box store (no background check!) and hold up people in the mall parking lot. Problem solved!
