Did his aides take enough coloring books to keep him occupied during the plane ride to WV?
I wonder if historians will call yesterday âTrifecta Tuesdayâ?
Probably just âAugust 21, 2018.â
Historians can be dull like that.
What a fucking goof.

The plan is to keep Trump distracted with golf and rallies, to give him less time to stew.
Stuck in his 8th grade mentality.
Brilliant My good man
Experience in the field?
I hope the local McDonaldâs can keep up with the supply of Big Macs the staff are going to need to satisfy the president.
You are going to keep DJT from stewing while watching T.V. (the only thing he does) by distracting him with work (something he never does)? Good plan.

Sounds like dealing with a two year old. âDistract. Look over there honey. â. Câmon. This is POTUS.
[/quote]A six year old, surely. Give the President his respect.
Sounds like the West Wing is a satellite of McLean Hospital.
Does the WH staff also do 15 minute checks 24/7?
ETA- j.dave beat me to it, excellent work.
FIFY
The real worry
I get this image of staffers fleeing the White House, everyone too scared to go near the furious orange orangutan who is throwing feces and will beat anyone to a pulp if they get too near. Who will gingerly slide his dinner beneath the door? Who will respond when he presses the button for his next soda? Tiptoe away quickly, quicklyâŚnow bar the door and let Mr. Mueller serve his indictments.
somehow I donât see him going quietly into the night boarding Marine1 with a âVâ sign
May be a tad more dramatic
âTaintâ of criminality smearing the White Houseâainât no âtaintâ about it, itâs full-blown âstank.â
The term âDistracting Trumpâ has a strange sort of oxymoronishness to itâŚ
Bound with restraints, strapped to a dolly and being wheeled across the White House lawn to a care facility medical transport. One wheel in need of oil, squeaking along the way. Wait, sorry, that is Stephen Miller.
it has begunâŚ
So actually governing is not on their list of things for the President to doâŚ
WellâŚthe pardon is not in the mix. Tells us a lot about what Cohen is doing as well.
Haha!
I canât locate many Dem reps at all that have come out in favor of impeachment, as of date. Beto OâRourke down in TX(!) has been quite vocal on this and is neck-and-neck with Ted Cruz.
There are many within the Dem party and the base that have a hard time grasping how imperative it is to craft a narrative rather than being perpetually reactive or blindly following the MSM conventional wisdom / polling (which is almost always, âDems should not be too vocal about ________â). This results in a significant portion of the population not understanding what Democrats are in favor of, and also exudes the repellent stench of weakness, which is a turn off to many âindependentâ (i.e., low information) voters.
Whatever the merits of opposing impeachment were previously, IMHO, they have been eradicated by yesterdayâs events. If Democrats do not demonstrate a willingness to hold a criminal accountable, what is the impetus for voters to award them with majorities? Sure, this may turn out the mouth-breathers, but they will be turning out anyway because FOX and Limbaugh are telling them that the Democrats WILL impeach Trump no matter what the Dems say publicly⌠And these people have 0 critical thinking skills.
Accordingly, I strongly believe opposing impeachment (and, make no mistake, this is Pelosiâs current position, as opposed to wait-and-see or not publicly endorsing) is becoming more and more politically perilous to Democrats (and our country) as Trump and his conspirators become exposed.
