Discussion: After Two People Said No, Chris Christie Now Being Seriously Considered For AG

Christie - like so many of the clowns - thinks he has never been outplayed - just did not play dirty enough.

Politico isn’t saying, but it did have Alex Acosta saying he didn’t want the job until Mueller issues his report. That’s the thing–even if you’re not fussy about working for Trump, people don’t want to be between him and Mueller; the whole thing’s just a huge hot potato and they’re saying “Not me, brother, you do it.” Whitaker said “hold my beer,” which speaks volumes about his nose for danger as well as his partisan corruption.

Perhaps he sees this as a way to redeem himself?

Donald must be schmoozing him, sweet talking him to attempt to add some legitimacy to his AG pick who could be confirmed. Crispy is desperate for love (he left NJ HATED) but I still don’t believe he would obstruct justice for The Donald. But now that I remember Bridgegate… maybe I"m wrong.

If he becomes AG, Christie will literally sit on the report Mueller hands him so no one will EVER see it.

You become what your boss demands of you, or you hit the pavement. If Trump hands down orders to persecute, oppress and prosecute migrants, non-Christians or minorities that is what Christie will have to do, or resign. Christie may desire to be inclusive and non-discriminatory. But it is Trump that will be commanding his actions.

A commenter at WaPo mentioned Pam Bondi. I could see that.

I agree, which is why Christie should never take this job.

Do you think he agrees?

Questions on her dropping the Trump University lawsuit after receiving campaign donations from Trump would be very interesting. Eventually, she will have to have a Senate hearing, right?

Yes … but the scary part is in which way?

  • in the eyes of Trump
  • in the eyes of the more moderate wing of the GOP that he was once trying to win
  • in his own twisted heart - that has forever aimed at being Commander in Chief.

tweet from Barrett Noah points out and Barrett has a lot of other info on Whitaker in other tweets

So Sheriffs Arpaio and Clarke turned him down?

I’m going to guess you’re not from New Jersey. You’d be hard pressed to find anybody who had CC as Governor for 8 years who would trust him as far as they could throw him.

Chris Christy has no dignity. Neither do Romney, Graham or Cruz. But nobody has dragged himself more, only to be humiliated again and again than the Lardass from NJ.

Completely forgot about that

Preshitident Skanky-Manslut should not trust anyone not related by blood to be Attorney General. I am thinking that First Lady Iwanka Vinyldoll would considered most qualified. Besides, Cuck Kushner has met with her on several occasions.
