Discussion: After Sinking Months Into Failed Repeal, Congress Poised To Let Health Programs Expire

I never ever want to hear one of the motherfkers talk about the ‘children’ or the ‘sick’ or the ‘aged’. Never. I never want to hear one more fking word about ethic, morals or values. They have none. I am so angry…it’s time to back away from the keyboard.

Let’s place the blame where it belongs… the keyboard has nothing to do with this, look away from the screen!

Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-TX), the chair of the committee, waved away concerns, telling reporters: “We’re going to reauthorize it, hopefully before the end of the month, or shortly thereafter.”

Ahem, Hatch is not a Senator from Texas. We have our own assholes with Cruz and Cornyn.

The “negotiations” are all about what kinds of poison pills the republicans will put into the bills so that they can blame democrats for anything that goes wrong. If they wanted to, they could pass clean reauthorizations in half an hour each.

This is the day they crash and burn along with Donald Trump they will never get reelected after this load life game plan.

Right. The fact that Texas is full of assholes doesn’t mean that each and every asshole comes from there.

I see this as another 2018 campaign bonanza for the Democrats. Now if they could just find a way to communicate this without making it a treatise.

For example,

The GOP didn’t care if your child died.

Or

The GOP didn’t care if you went bankrupt on your child’s medication.

Something. Anything…

"Different states are affected in different ways, but we had testimony in the committee from a mom who said, ‘If the money runs out, I’m going to have trouble figuring out how to pay for prescriptions for my kid.’”

To which Paul Ryan replied, “Exactly!” And then he walked away.

Can’t you just see Rayn saying, so let it happen and decrease the surplus population?

For every child who dies because of Orin Hatch and his cronies refusing to reauthorize the CHIP program, I believe charges of premeditated murder would be in order. Moreover, in each such case I think a good civil action could be brought against the Repuglican Party for wrongful death. Why not?

We’d better see every Democratic officeholder out there immediately, incessantly talking about how the GOP doesn’t care if kids get health care. Of course, they’ll probably figure we’ve all been following the latest committee agendas and that they don’t need to say anything about it.

In fairness though, he certainly seems like he should be from Texas.

Trump: If Democrats want CHIP, vote to kill ObamaCare. Its that simple. I am a dealmakerr.

" putting the health insurance of millions of children in jeopardy"

What more needs to be said?

And Jesus said unto them, "Let the little children come unto me so that I might deprive them of health and security."

The least among us, my ass!

:anguished: Republicans simply put, are [not] good people.

It’d be nice if Joni “Bread Bags” Ernst would speak up for the children and demand Congress stick around until an agreement is made, but somehow I don’t see that happening.

I wish I could agree with you, but I have seen them commit way too many outrages and still win elections. Fact is- their side is trained into voting lockstep and our side isn’t.

But Republicans love children.

Especially in a cream sauce.
