I don’t agree with McCain’s politics but the man has a terminal illness. Can we not allow him some dignity? I expect if the roles were reversed and trump had the brain tumor there would be an epic hue and cry to allow him some dignity.

I’m not joking. I know a guy who doesn’t wear his seat belt while driving to demonstrate his faith in Jesus and that Jesus will protect him. He also voted for Trump.

I have a close friend who is definitely a conservative. Her husband got really sick over the last few months and spent quite a bit of time in the hospital.
I saw her on Monday, asking her how things were going, and she went on a rant about how their finances were pretty much destroyed. I asked her about her health insurance. She said, ‘Obamacare’ with a sneer and a grimace. I asked her how they might’ve fared without it.
She gave no answer.

I find this to be the basis of the reasoning behind not wanting Trump at the eventual funeral. Who would want someone at the services celebrating the life of someone, no matter how one views the guy personally, who went out and publicly and loudly derided the dying man and encouraged others to do the same?
I wouldn’t want any of these people around me, living or dead.

No, they revel in their lack of decency. I guess at this point it’s only when they themselves lose their jobs, their disability, their healthcare (their ACA, rather), and cannot drink their water will they possibly consider that they need another way. Until then, the bottom is apparently limitless.

A dear close buddy’s daughter had her 1st child a few days ago after a very difficult pregnancy. She had to have an emergency c-section to deliver her baby. There will be enormous bills resulting. She has Obamacare and finally my buddy has gone silent in his criticism. He was a trump supporter but that support is eroding by the day.
