I wonder if we can persuade Mexico to keep him and his loving mother? Probably not.
I do hope they will accuse us of sending them our murderers. Maybe demanding that a big wall be built, that tRump must pay for.
In this age of extreme partisanship, it’s good to have a story that seemingly EVERYONE agrees upon. This kid is a grade-A jerk, and he’ll be lucky if he only gets 10 years. Moms will probably get her fair share too. The publicity of this story and the outrage over the original sentence almost demands it.

This is sofa king good.
Trump: Murders I understand but what if he has become a rapist as he has been in Mexico?
Yes, this is how Trump is going to get Mexico to pay for the wall. I’m sure many of Trump’s friends have kids just like this one that he can send to our Southern neighbor - “Listen pal, this is YUGE. I don’t need your campaign donation what I need is to send your kid to Mexico for a few lawless days. I’ll get him back once I’m king. You in? Or are you dead to me?”
Money talks so lets see what happens with this story. A poor white guy or a black guy would be guaranteed jail time for skipping out of the country like this rich kid did. If the kid gets no jail time I sure hope the courts make public who got paid off and how much.
Real test will be to see if this case gets reassigned to adult court. If it stays in juvie, the fix is still in.
Looking at those creepy dead eyes makes me think that this guy isn’t done. One way or another, his body count is going to rise once he gets out on the street again.
I don’t think any case that requires international extradition is going to stay in Juvenile Court.
You think so? The judge that gave him probation has already retired, and pretty comfortable I am sure. Next judge will probably give him a slap in the hand and maybe order him to stand in a corner with a sandwich board for a few hours, if things get really bad maybe send him to jail (in a special cell, not with the general population) for a week or two .
Mark my words significant time will not be served, the family is still wealthy and whoever the judge is going to be, he/she will still be human.
White privilege, personified:
He deserves to go to prison, no doubt about it. But the judge should give him at least a few months off his 10 year sentence for time served with that haircut.

I’m eager to hear how that “affluenza” lawyer spins this misadventure. That’s going to be tough.
Because of his age, he wasn’t certified as an adult for trial
So is this lie published straight out of a defense press release, or is it just a product of the blurber’s utter credulity and stupidity?
At 17, he would have been an adult under applicable law. There would have been no need to certify him. He was 16. That’s as old as you can be at the time of the act and still need to be certified. Nobody is more likely to be certified for trial as an adult than a 16-year-old. Nobody.
And one with four intoxication homicides and a maiming or two, who would have been most likely to get slammed as an adult. Except for favoritism by prosecutor and judge, to be exceptionally generous. Otherwise just substitute corruption.
For one thing, it looks like affluenza is contagious. Mom seems to have caught it as well.
Possibly she was a carrier already.
Have they caught the elected judge that let him get away without jail time in the first place?
Glad they caught this little bastard and his mother. If they both don’t land in jail this time, you can consider the criminal justice system in Texas defunct.
A poor white guy or a black guy would never have gotten probation in the first place. Either one of them would have been in the slammer from Day 1.
Mexico: Less corrupt than Texas?
